That means that Ron Paul would be faster than almost any black man he would meet.

One sentence in the news letters doesn't square with Ron Paul as the writer given Ron Paul's history. The writer says that anyone who has been mugged can atest to how fleet footed young black men can be. The writer thinks that black men as a group are faster than him. Ron Paul won the Pennsylvania state championship in the 220 and he had a 9.7 second 100 in high school at a time when the national record was 9.4. That means that Ron Paul would be faster than almost any black man he would meet.

He didn't write that newsletter; no politician does that grunt work. None. They pay staffers for that. So Paul is surely *responsible* for what was published IN HIS NAME, but he didn't write it himself.
