  • Hi Sasha, This is Andrea Patane. How are you? I smell skunk odor every night when I sleep. I live with my parents. Skunks aren't welcome visitors, because they can destroy property.

  • @mermaidamp There is a big difference between domesticated (or pet) skunks and wild skunks, just as there is between domesticated rats and wild ones.

  • i just have a few questions: do skunks shed? if so, how much? also, are there any natural enemies of the skunk? like, can they get along with larger/hostile dogs for example? what if a domesticated skunk encounters a wild skunk... will they be cool or fight..? are skunks as prone to flea and tick problems as dogs or cats? do skuks like taking baths..?? I'm just trying to do my homework before I apply for a state permit to own a skunk :)

  • this is really helpfull because my cusin wants a pet skunk or a sugar glider..... most importantly, her voic is sooo hilarious.

  • Pet skunks are ment to be in the house running and playing! Not caged!!

  • @mxkid545

    you are ignorant

  • Shes is wrong about bedding. You should NEVER use straw for bedding for any pet. It's far to sharp and can hurt your pets eyes. Use hay it is far softer.

  • They're almost like cats aren't they? and just as cute.

  • @Gracie05452 No, not really. Haha. More like big cuddly ferrets. They typically are less aloof and much more affectionate and loving than felines, and much MUCH more mischievous.

  • Wow thats allot, but totally worth it.
