I go to oshkosh every year and during the warbird show they read a poem about the B-17.Does anybody know of this poem?DANNY CLISHHAM told me in person, but i forgot.
I saw this one and Memphis Belle together at Boire Field in Nashua, New Hampshire. Impressive up close and personal. My favorites since I was little and watching "12 o'clock High" on TV
The guy with the rag in his pocket is the mechanic! I have seen him on both coasts, when I rode this in Salinas California and then visited it in Oxford, Connecticut. I love to revisit this here on youtube. GO ON THIS, It is the experience of a lifetime!
They were back here in Hattiesburg, MS last week, but I got ill and missed it. :( This time they had the P-51. I would love to fly in one, preferably the B-25.

I am unsure of the poem. I love the sound of the four radial engines while the B-17 is in Flight!!!

You wanna hear those radials scream? Try flying in one sometime. I went back in March to Wings of Freedom and it was LOUD inside that thing.
