Important question. Poverty leads to terrible outcomes and it's appalling to think there are 230,000 children living in poverty here in Aotearoa. Do voters care? If not, they should! we will all pay in the end. How can we justify leaving children in poverty in this rich country? If we do nothing we will have to live with the crime and violence that results from inaction on poverty.
Well, Helen not only has no kids, she hasn't given any provisions for the poor children except to turn them into street thugs. John Key's promises to either lock them up or commit them to an army training programme.
