when i place a call it keep telling me to try again how can i get it to place a call? i download everything. when i call my google number it don't ring the samsung galaxy player it goes to voice mail can any help me to get this to work right?

if i use my wifi i can log into my google voice and dial voice calls through it. why would i want a 3rd party voip app to do the same thing google voice does already for free?

Did you use your land line as the google voice anchor line or a cell line? Sorry if you answered this in the video but I'm just gonna drop my cell plan down to the lowest possible rate plan with no data or texting so that I can just use this for everything else. Best way, or is there a better way?

Hey Brian I have the exact same Galaxy 4.0 that you have, I've got the basics working can send and receive text make and receive calls, are there any other tweaks other then what you showed to reduce the delay?

Does the earpiece work on the player, or is it just for looks?

@dunca321 Earpiece is fully functional. This hardware is essentially the same as the original Galaxy S phones without the cellular radio.

@dunca321 I actually heard that as well. I laughed to myself because it would probably have cost Samsung more to remove the earpiece from the galaxy s design than it would to just throw it in there. Seems my sister in law is getting one of these for my nephew so I have another one to set up. Hope you enjoy yours!

Is there a way to make the app run the background like a autostart?

@babyjokes250 Yeah, there is an autostart option and I have yet to see it fail to start when you turn the device on. It works quite well. The biggest issue I have is when you are using the device and have the screen on, often times the screen will turn off when you get a call. You have to turn the screen on to answer. But this is not a big deal and there is probably a setting like "keep screen alive" that would eliminate this problem.
