i just thought of something maybe because snake was born from big boss stemcells and stemcells can be found to retain memory (or at least i read something like that) does that mean that because big boss got betrayed by his combat in arms mother that snake has a in built instinct to go it alone so to speak emotional reactive memory getting too close to a familiar friend or individual too soon equals fear for snake.
