  • I wanna do that if i become an engineer!

  • Pretty interesting huh? I thought it was broke when I first heard him doing that! lol.

  • neat

  • Was interesting for sure!

  • pretty neat

  • Wow How the heck did he do that? it sounds better like that in my opinion

  • Lightly holding the button for the horn.

  • that gave me chills

  • Thanks for the comment, it was different for sure!

  • yep...sounded like music in a horror film lol...what time was this?

  • Around 8:15-8:30pm. Before the sun started staying brighter in the evenings.

  • ohh pretty skyline as a background for this though

  • that is some good horn action

  • When I filmed it, I thought it was broken or something! lol.

  • That happened to me when I railfanned at Fullerton. An Amtrak engineer saw waving railfans and hit the horns at half blast so people around will not get scared.

  • Humm, that's interesting, you'd think he'd put on a show for them!

  • Not really. It is in a station and there are a significant amount of people.

  • Oh I got ya, wouldn't want to rip their heads off with some full blasts!

  • Hahaha! With their powerful K5LAs, they can make some old guy gets a heart attack! Then Amtrak will get sued, then they have to shut down, then... well you get my point, right?

  • he was quilling it, some engineers do that

  • What's that? Like holding the handle just a little bit?

  • yeah, lightly holding the button

  • Is there any purpose in that besides entertaining the onlookers? It sounds pretty neat.
