well, kind of a lot to explain. Basically, Made a drum track first. Recorded the Bass guitars, rhythm and lead guitars next followed by the synth keyboards. mixed it together with the video. If I go into detail, there wouldnt be enough room to leave it in the comments XD

Hey Jake! Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad it came out great! As for that vocal effect, I did it using Propllerheads Reason 5. You have to record a sample of your voice and then you use the keyboard to control it in Reason using a vocoder. Hope it helps! =D
