Such an intense and serious conversation, and note how calm Brenda remained. No screeching tantrums. I hate GH's current writing team.

It's somewhat of an ultimatum, but I wouldn't call it manipulative. She is basically telling Sonny that she needs more of a commitment from him or she is moving on. It's actually a very real conversation that a lot of couples go through. What a concept, using real drama with good dialog instead of silly mob threats for a story.

I hear the other characters calling Brenda fragile, but i myself haven't seen Brenda act any differently now than she is acting here. Bitchy and overdramatic, lol. I mean, she's being very manipulative right now.. you do this or we're over. yeah it is an ultimatum.

@talula2283 I don't think she was being manipulative. She's being honest. B was letting Sonny know "Sexing and dating is great, but where are we going w/this relationship? I'm in love w/you & need to know I'm not out here by myself". Every couple reaches a point where they have to decide to take it to the next level or pack up the memories & move on. S&B had a lot of honest moments about the internal conflicts between ppl in love...this is definitely one of them.

THIS IS THE REAL BRENDA. Guza, check out this magic before you butcher your "ratings gold". The Brenda we fell in love with was strong, emotionally raw, honest, good, gorgeous, insecure and sweet. She was never, ever fragile. Insecure, maybe but never a weak, pathetic, fragile creature you made her into. She had fire and spirit. She was able, in this scene, to walk away from Sonny coz he didn't give her what she needed and deserved. Write this -- our -- Brenda pack into GH in 2011.

God I miss this Brenda she always stood up for herself and wasnt this fragile creature they are making her out to be. Yea she's always been spoiled and whiny but she was also fiesty and she would never have let someone like Carly intimidate her.

@neetrab - Well like Brenda said when Sonny and Brenda got back together at their old apartment. Sonny left her twice and what he did to her changed her. She ahs been through a lot in her life. They are finally getting married on Tuesday and I hope the vows Sonny makes to her will show Brenda that she can finally trust in his love for her.

Yes I loved this couple and Loved Brenda because she is the only woman who ever demanded more from Sonny then what she got and you could tell he really really loved her because he was willing to risk his heart and soul to give her all of him. He hasnt given another woman all of him since just pieces of him the only woman that came close to getting all of him was Carly and thats because she brought that out of him lol
