@ansosify I agree with you. But you see the church accepts everyone, I try too. And I know a few people who may be gay (Im not sure) who are very active in the church, being gay is not a sin, the sin is any sex or marriage between the two. And I don't know of any church that will not accept everyone, we may not have high opinions of them but I think they would accept them. Ok seriously, if youre not a Christian, you either havent read the bible or you havent had it explained to you, so dont try to make fun of Christianity if you dont even know its basic beliefs. First off, I am a strong agnostic, which proves we do exist (Neil Peart of Rush is one as well). Second, the definition of a strong agnostic is quite simple. It's easy to get stuck in a rut and wait for someone or something to come along, but you have to engage with the world around you. This song seems to be someone who's just realized what he could have been had he lived a less narrowly focused life. That's what people seem to be missing; I thought it was pretty straightforward myself. It's a good message; you don't have to be Christian to appreciate it.

i just think a religion, with a god who does not love everyone equally is not that great. And I know a few people who may be gay (Im not sure) who are very active in the church, being gay is not a sin, the sin is any sex or marriage between the two. And I don't know of any church that will not accept everyone, we may not have high opinions of them but I think they would accept them. And God loves everyone equally, if you were the only one on this earth God will still have Jesus die for you, me and any1.

My friends will ultimately have to choose for themselves. I am not responsible. I just enjoy them while we are here and try to love them as best I can so they can see Christ in me. Ive done drugs and stuff of that nature. i stopped caring about god and cared about myself. In my confidence i started to lose god till one faithful night. My friends and me went camping and cops came. After that i have rededicate my life for God.

KarrolJoy the bible only states that there is 1 unforgivable sin and it is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Please read Mark 3:28-30 and Matthew 12:31-32. You see clearly that this sin is the only one that will not be forgiven as described by the Lord Himself.

I am also agnostic, and i really enjoy this song and several others by the band. Simply because i dont believe in a god doesnt mean i cant enjoy music relating to one. to many people get agnostics and atheist misxed up, i dont have any problem with anyones religion i just dont have one and am happy that way and will remain happy that way

Is anyone actually listening to the lyrics in this song? There's more than just people screaming OH MY GOD CHRISTIAN MUSIC, there's an underlying message that goes deeper than faith. Even if you're not Christian (I'm a strong agnostic myself), there's another meaning to this song that anyone can relate to; if you can't hear it, then you shouldn't be listening to metal.

First off, I am a strong agnostic, which proves we do exist (Neil Peart of Rush is one as well). Second, the definition of a strong agnostic is quite simple. It's someone who acknowledges they can't know whether a god or gods exist, and that neither they nor anyone else is able to know. I know that I can't determine a god's existence; I am therefore stronger and more intelligent than you, because I don't rely on the existence on a presupposed higher power. Was that too hard for you to read?

@gwrudacille Underneath the Christian principles, the song is about living a full life. It's easy to get stuck in a rut and wait for someone or something to come along, but you have to engage with the world around you. This song seems to be someone who's just realized what he could have been had he lived a less narrowly focused life. That's what people seem to be missing; I thought it was pretty straightforward myself. It's a good message; you don't have to be Christian to appreciate it.
