I think you should get a bit deeper when doing shiko dachi, correct stance is very important, as well as stabilizing your knees when moving your upper body, also at the part where you are stepping back (should be shikodachi as well) and have your hands open, your arm infront should be straight, and when you go backwards you do it over nekoashidachi, so standing sideways with shikodachi->nekoashidachi and a fluent step backwards into shiko again
very nice i always get like a good vive from you when you do your katas even if you mess up well anyway nice job on the kata my seiunchin is alot different but i can tell its the same kata and all make m ore vids see ya
I actually was one on one trained by my Sensei, Howard Lee. Ken Pittaway and Norbert Donnelly lineage. We trained at his house and in a church basement for a few years. I live in oregon now, thanks for the comment
i was interested to see that you have a shi shi dog in the foreground... where is it you trained at? your kata looked like it has quite a few variations...
Haha. Yes it is. Well I was training at taht time at a friends house in arizona. My feet were frozen solid. i could barely feel them. It looks unny, but that ground was still shadowed from the freezing night. Yes they are just 2 statues next to his pool. Thanks
I was actually VERY winded. I did about 30 kata that morning at my friends house. After I was practiced, I began filming. I got intot hat bad habit back at the beginning of my training. I have since eliminated that habit. Very good reply, and helpful, but untrue for me.:) Keep on watching. i will have them re done eventually, with Wansu, and Chinto coming soon.

@Thekaratekid101 just cause everyone thinks that their way is right, and dont actually look at the logic behind the techniques.

Where in Arizona did you train? I visited an Isshin-ryu dojo in Chandler last month. Do you still train there?

Why do you breath out on every technique?
setboy1 4 years ago
The reason he breaths out is because it is part of the technique of the kata. good question!

Actually, I was talking about all of the parts after the first three steps.
