Let me break this down:

Gears of War - luck. Shooting a guy 3-4 times with a shotgun, he turns around, shoots you, and you blow up... LUCK.

Modern Warfare - connection. If you're the host, people get mowed down so quickly, it's not even funny. And don't forget about where "campers" have prevailed, especially with the Assassin perk.

Battlefield - strategy. You really need teammates on that game.

Halo - skill. Where accuracy matters & remember using BXR, BLB, BXB, & the double shot?

Halo Anniversary should have the original style multiplayer like back in the day. the DMR is far from the only thing i dont like about Anniversary. I think for a TRUE anniversary title they should have kept it simple like the original. i know the single player will be like the original but the multiplayer is just reach with CE maps and guns/abilities. maybe that's a bit clearer

@ForeverYoungAaron The BR was to powerful and took no skill to use. The DMR is powerful but requires some finesse to use efficiently. It's a much more balanced weapon because of it.

And by the way, if you have played the TU, you would know its awesome. The sandbox doesn't revolve around one gun, and the gameplay is fast with no randomness.

I LOVE that they're integrating the old with the new. It takes a game the was and still is brilliant and puts that polish on it that makes it outshine all the new diamonds out there. Enhancing the graphics means nothing to me because graphics don't make the game. If you want the exact same game you should've kept it.

@iMonstarrr I believe the reason they decided not to remake the CE multiplayer is because the Reach multiplayer itself is relatively new (only a year old). If they released the CE MP, then there would be a divergence of players between both games, which I don't think would be a good idea.
