This video is awesome. You made a perfect job and the song is just the best to fit with it. I study History of the Art (19th century) so I was curious about this show. I discovered it some days ago and I just watched all the episodes in a row. Some détails aren't accurate with the historical facts but it's still a really good show.

You know, when I first watched this, I couldn't stop laughing; something about a period piece set to 80s synth seems like it shouldn't work, somehow. BUT YOU TOTALLY PULLED IT OFF. I mean, your editing is great, and it fits, even though it still seems brilliantly weird. Excellent choice and very well done!

Why can't the BBC get the props right for the period, bad wigs, language not right for the mid 19th century.Candles were the most expensive lighting, the artists are not well off at the start, look how many candles there are, this is a modern idea to have loads of candles in films, they think it gives an ambiance.

the screen writer of DR refers to the Brotherhood as the original punks and says there are parallels with Sid and Nancy and Rosetti and Lizzie Siddal - so perhaps the Sex Pistols for backing music?

thank god for history with tongue in cheek, it saves us from the boredom of soaps/talent shows, love the humour love the costumes love the whole vibe, rossetti being my fav, one liners to hold, as for the art, its down to your taste, not sure about the music, to me this dirty sexy, age needs a good solid rock music

have you tried BBC iplayer ? it's excellent, that's how I've been watching it but I'm not sure if you can get i abroad :) I know the DVD is coming out in september though if that helps :) Great video! I know it was based on real events etc.. But I've researched and it's actually pretty acurate! Brilliant
