there is no doubt in my mind that the four people who dislike this vid from Master Sinatra are Justin Bieber fans. In a few short years Bum bieber will be forgotten.. while O'l blue eyes will still resonate throughout eternity...
all you need to transport yourself to Heaven is to have a good Scotch at hand preferably Jack Daniel's (Frank's favorite) and listen to any of this wonderful man for a while. He was so clear and so expressive that listening to one of his songs for 3 minutes was like watching a Classic movie in its entirety.
Sinatra seems to have been in especially fine voice for this '69 special. He not only hit the high F near the end, like Sammy Cahn insisted he do for the definitive 1955 recording, he sustained it for several seconds at the very end. Superb!

at this tv special , sinatra asked gordon jenkins (the maestro) how is going to hit the last note.
jenkins told him "u r frank sinatra, who else can hit that note?"
