there are 2 possible thinks for me i have good ears she say 5 00 11 mixed russian english or 5 9 9 11 mixed russian german and englisch so the one thing sis pyat nol nol eleven or pyat neun neun eleven but even this is right the code cant be translated because of the missing key u need a key too translate it otherwise ther number station is nearly unbeatable

maybe it's some kind of code to get acces into a place. she speaks at various times in the game. i can remember that i heard this female voice in the beginning repeating words like sword and shield, and that sort of things. so maybe this is like that, but with numbers? or she's just informing the combine something, or maybe telling the citizens something? i know this was heard after they became rebels but maybe it's a recording from before that.

and also, that asteroid thing sounds creepy.

@AdiAsyraf8 since the name "gman" is a short for goverment man(invented by the hl fans) and was never at any point heard or seen in any of the hl-games, that would be very unlikely. in fact i can't hear anything that sounds like that sentance. and i don't think that gmod has any connection with the hl2 story that way. it's just for playing around.

I think Valve mashed up some number stations' broadcasts. I've been trying to identify that 5 note palindrome for 5 hours straight, i'm creeped the fuck out and all i can say so far is i think that the female voice is reciting numbers in groups of three (in the somewhat usual number station fashion). I'm not 100% sure about the language, but i think it's "sechs-neun-neun-sechs" (6-9-9-6 in german). Someone please help me identify the station because i'm going crazy.

Well, in the Half-Life 2 leak these TV sounds were heard in the Borealis, and on boats they sometime use cryptic messages when signaling other boats.

But this is my theory: the voice is the overwatch voice, probably not saying anything specific, and the rest is old music. Why does it show up in static and what not? Because the radios/TV change channels.
