It's about people who are cloned to be vital organ donors in early adulthood and they can make up to 4 donations before they die. But they are basically kept in captivity as a child and don't see the outside world as a child and barely at all as an adult as well. Very sad movie. It's very dark and twisted. But also very interesting concept. Thank god this is not actually possible!

I give it yes it's a good film but I can't stand it honestly. it's so sad, makes my cry and feel how unjust it is for the donors! Maybe i see it from the wrong perspective but from where i am standing it really is like betrayal against my basic survival instinct! I like The Island better, simply because they (the clones) fight for their freedom and lives. Makes me feel 'right'.

What I find most depressing about the story is their acceptance of their fate.
