Why in the hell does everyone bash automatics? I have owned 4 sticks and when I bought my mazda3 I chose automatic. A lot of people who drag race also choose autos because a lot of the time they run a faster time and shift qucker, even if you are the best manual driver there is. But you could have taken that "curve of death" a lot quicker haha....don't hold out, the 3 will stick to the road..have faith.

That exhaust makes the car's sound ooze "I'm a low quality, highschooler-owned, POS." :/ That noise is the result of people with relatively small 4 cylinder engines thinking their car's inner Ferrari is locked inside because of an "undersized" stock exhaust, so they say "The bigger the better, right?" But no, in fact, it's "The bigger the more annoying and explosive-diarrhea like." Get a muffler that's not just a resonated straight-through pipe and you might be on to something.

@NOOGUMS I like the raspy, I just don't like the loud droning. I'm gonna replace one of the resonators with a magnaflow muffler eventually. Hopefully it'll tone it down a little. I normally love really loud exhausts but mines getting to the point of being downright annoying ever since I dropped in the header.

@pjtart The exhaust is straight off of a Mazdaspeed3, I got it for $200 shipped. The header normally goes for $350 but I got it on clearance for $150. I also had the second catalytic converter removed when the exhaust was installed.
