Bach Chaconne in D minor BWV 1004 on a Carillon (bell) - 1/2

No me refiero a la interpretación, que me parece correcta si no al sonido. Esta estropea totalmente la belleza incomensurable de esta música, que en mi opinión sólo admite tres diferentes instrumentos capaces de captar su profundidad, que son el piano, la guitarra y por supuesto el violín.

P.D. Yo no toco este instrumento feo, pero sí el piano. Métete en mi espacio aquí de youtube y el primer vídeo (claro de luna) soy yo tocando el piano... si tanta ganas tienes de verme.

LOVE this! And also his recording of the Passacaglia. The carillon is truly a majestic instrument worthy of Bach's majestic music.

Is this the same carillon that he played the C minor passacaglia on?

No, this is on the Sint Janstoren carillon in Gouda whereas the Passacaglia is on the Westertoren carillon in Amsterdam (both in the Netherlands).

This is a relatively smaller instrument (in terms of the size of bells) and that's why it sounds much higher in pitch.
