  • vive l'international ouvrier

  • The last 2 lines of your English translation are a little off. It should be "They come right into our arms, to cut the throats of our sons, our country." Also, it's " the bloody flag is raised" not "The flag of our blood."

  • Every country should have a Red Army Choir.

  • @Gallers I'll say... some countries (like mine) have great songs but horrible choir. A choir, even a military one, should be made of singers, not soliders who cant sing (its nice if they can be both soldiers and can sing)

  • Red army singing la marseillaise this is a great honor.

Long live Russia and France !

  • It's too bad people don't have the passion for revolution like the people before them did. A twitter revolution? Gimme a break. It is nothing without a good ole revolution song.

  • ALLONS, AMERICA! RICH TO THE GUILLOTINE! :)

  • It is important to remember the importance of this song for Russia, it was essentially the theme song of the revolutions of 1905. The people sang it in the streets while struggling against tsarist oppression. Their struggle lives on, and should be remembered forever!

  • best himn ever!

    from peru !

  • Any time is a good time for Revolution!

  • For Liberty!

    Pour la Liberté !

    За Свободы!

  • What the fuck is wrong with the French? You guys are so fucking weird lol

  • @CplButters yep but they are extremely brave and will fight to the last man just look at their actions in world war two but you need to dig for the truth past all the coward shit and lies

  • @CplButters Cartman send you a message: "Butters, you suck!"

  • @CplButters I am American and I love the French! We should be more like them!

  • I'am like >wtf

  • LOL

  • Aux armes bande de vauriens!

    Marchez tas de couillons!

  • @Boggoranthius Du calme, citoyens...

  • You don't have to be French at all to respect this fine anthem, Amazing rendition!

  • Vivan la Revolución Francesa y sus ideales eternos! Viva Francia! Viva Colombia!

  • Vive l'empereur!

  • If the European Union has its way, this beautiful French national anthem along with many others will be consigned to the scrap book of history, what a shame !

  • Viva México!

    Viva Fráncia!

    Viva Marx!

    Viva La URSS!

  • See, 'Casa Blanca", with true impact.

  • russia and france should be friends. unfortunately muslim chechen dogs who live in france are trying to get us against each other.

  • From which album this version comes?

  • Rouget de Lisle might turn in his two graves!

A jolly good marching tune, as he intended.

  • That painting is actually from the July Revolution in 1830, not the original one in 1789.

  • Viva La France! Greetings from Poland 14!!

  • I'm not French, but I have to admit you have the second best national anthem in the world

  • Vive L'armee Rouge!

    Vive la Communisme!

Vive Marx, Engels, Lenin et Stalin!

    Vive L'URSS!

  • I'm proud to be french because of the Marseillaise, and I'm proud that our russian brothers of the red army choir sing our anthem because it's simply an honor

  • Comment removed

  • Nothing could be more ironic than the bolsheviks singing the anthem of the bourgeoisie's revolution... An anachronical joke!

  • @icabaripto

It isn't a joke, the revolution was to clear away a fuedal system, Marx and Trotsky for example knew that certain societies may have to go through bourgeiose/capitalist revolution before things like socialist states and communism.

  • France was the one meant to become Communist in the 19th century, not Russia in the 20th.

  • Jean Jacques Rousseau Fundamental educação das crianças para o progresso da sociedade

  • Ne crois pas au communisme, dans un monde parfait, il n'ya pas de société juste que les hommes justos.O communisme et un mensonge!

  • Unbelievable, I feel when french army, french choir or another thing are singing French anthem it's less powerful than when it's the Red army (whom from Russia)

  • Loin d'être la meilleure version

  • redarmy

  • I'm french, and it feels strange ^^ nice singing :)

  • got to hand it to the RAC...they are dang good!

  • Ah quelle doux mélange raisonne à mes oreilles :D

  • As a Frenchman, I can confirm that this rendition is absolutely beautiful. I am a patriot who also admires Russian language and culture (I am learning Russian). Thanks Russian friends, merci amis russes!

  • @republicain85 Je suis exactement dans le même cas que toi !

  • why the woman who eliberates France must have naked boobs ?

  • @Volumep just because she's french! =)

  • the country who haves an president at their head are countrys with balls ;)

  • This and the one in Casablanca are the best renderings I've heard. Many thanks.

  • This is one of the best choir I have ever heard to sing this National Anthem of France. The expression, voice variation, clarity of the pronounciation,... every thing is so perfect. I salute these choir members. I hope that one day, I may meet them and learn from them. Jung Jing, Ph.D.

  • @JungJingymay2010 It has been said Jung Jing, that the Red Army Choir while director Alexandrov was alive, was the finest choir of men ever put together in history. Also, that any of these men could have had a prime role with any of the finest opera companies anywhere. The Soviets, when men were inducted into the Red Army were asked if they could sing. So, virtually every man in the country got an audition in effect. As a result, Alexandrov could take the very best. This choir is a treasure.

  • @dsindc thank you for the knowledge. jung jing

  • Wait till they sing The Star Spangled Banner

(They did sung O Canada before)

  • @SS1v3k1 They have ! But then, unlike "O Canada", the Star Spangled Banner is a song of revolution and national independence. This is one of the reasons the Red Army Ensemble sang La Marseillaise - it is the ultimate song of revolution. Americans - especially of the Teabagger type - forget we have a revolutionary past. It was not a right wing revolution- that's almost an oxymoron. It was a radical left wing revolution. I heard them sing the Nat. Anth. at the Daughters of the Am. Rev. Hall.

  • wow they are actually singing in french

  • @shatnerpossum, because it is the INTERNATIONAL airport maybe? You can not expect all transit passengers to speak French.

  • revolucionary anthems are the best? why? they always say the true. examples? ussr, france and most of latin countries.

  • I like this song, but I hate the French, There is no country then French Where tey refuse to speak foreign languages. Even on the international airporrt Charels de Gaulle the staff refuse to speak English.

  • @arjschro Why should they have to speak English? Its France. You should speak French there.

  • @arjschro There is. The US, for example.

  • おっぱいでてますよ。

  • Glória aos que combateram e combatem pela libertação da humanidade.

  • You don't have to be from France to note similarities between revolutionary movements.

  • this is not "world" revolution or socialist revolution... This was a revolution for citizen rights and property. French revolution has no link with socialism and communism, it was a real people conciousness act.

  • @VincetheFrogophil Actually, the French Revolution inspired socialists and communists. Note that these socialist and communist movements have nothing to do with the USSR or any 'socialist' states during the 20th centuries.

  • @VincetheFrogophil

French peasants had no "property", so which "property" they fought for? French revolution's dynamo was working class which led by bourgeoisie. Without industrialzation it was impossible to organize for proletarian revolution. Next stage of revolution is the world socialist revolution without an alternative.

  • @Mushkenu They fought to gain their land... Socialism fight for proletarians... Here French fought together... poors richests... Watch chiefs of Bonaparte then... Surcouf, other generals had a new place because they deserved it. French Revolution is the ultime revolution for the Nation... No link with proletarians, no link with Marx and its clic of assholes. French Revolution is the french emancipation, wich give themself rights, duty, property, solidarity. It's a patriotic Revolution.

  • @VincetheFrogophil You had to read my comment carefully. I said working class (peasants, manufacturers, guild workers etc). Without proletariat there couldn't be a socialist rev. And idea of socialism was exist long before Marx (ex: Saint-Simon). So French revolution was a working class revolution, but their leadership was bourgeoisie. The history, is the history of struggling classes, not nations. Shallow minds of bourgeois nationalism always try to reject that fact.

  • Vive la revolution.

  • @GuiErechinense Must mean that I am

  • Jacobin-commies! The Bourbon-tsar's worst nightmare!!!!

  • @DinodudeEpic At least we are better than jacobin-bourgeois...

  • @TheBlindPowerslave Who said it's everyone's worst nightmare? It's simply the bourbon-tsar's worst nightmare. If that's what you mean.

  • @DinodudeEpic That is. But I don't understand waht you mean by "jacobin-commies".

  • @TheBlindPowerslave the anthem is of France during the revolution(That's where the anthem came from), and it is sang by the red army choir.....

  • @DinodudeEpic English fail.

  • @TheBlindPowerslave Besides me forgetting to capitalize the 'the', the sentence is way more sound grammar-wise then most of the stuff they place in the internet. If that is the 'English fail' you're talking about.

  • @DinodudeEpic No that is not because of grammar error. Est-ce que t'es français par chance?

  • this was also the russian national anthem during their revolution in WW1

Ceci etait aussi le anhem national de les russe pendant leur revolution

  • May Communism spread from a Celt-Canadian

  • j'adore leur voix

  • Bravo Red Army Choir!! They sure put their heart into it--probably because both the French and Russian revolutions had LOTS in common. Beautiful performance!!

  • @szolnok95 In English, please.

  • @Gallers English is the language of the invader

  • @CommieThreat ALWAYS(not really, but most of the time) :)

  • The offsprings of all Anglish (English) slavemasters and native American genociders as well as all Scottish, all Irish and all Welsch slavemasters and native American genociders who choose to call him or herself "American" must be executed for the debt as well as the peace.

If it is too hard to distinguish who is such an offspring, then execute each one of all "Americans" (all "American" population).

    "Behold, no criminals shall escape."---13:13

  • America: 1776

    France: 1789

    Russia: 1917

  • @RichardSwayne

    France: 1789 French

    Russia: 1917 Russian

    America: 1776 Americanish??

No, Anglisch! (mistakenly called "English" today...)

America: 1776, a slaveland ravaged by the Anglisch with the African slaves they brought to the American continent (and Scotish, Irish and Welsch and hence in general the "English-speaking-ancestor-tonguers") chose to call itself "American" (after slaughtering the native Americans who are the real Americans of course)...

  • @gewangew All ture, without the the American Revolution, we would not have had the French Revolution.

  • @RichardSwayne "...we would not have had the French Revolution."

I guess you are French? (or French American?)

  • @RichardSwayne ...since it is ridiculous for a non-French person to say:"...WE would not have had the French Revolution."

  • @gewangew When I said we, I meant mankind as a whole.

  • @RichardSwayne "Without the the American Revolution, we would not have had the French Revolution".

    No.

Yet without the help from the French, "Anglish (English) who call themselves 'Americans' " would certainly remain ruled by the Anglish (English) for much longer and there would not be a "Declaration of Independence" written in Anglish (English). (What a funny sentence! It is however true since there exists no language called "Americanish"!).

  • @RichardSwayne Here Captain Obvious, take this Rock...

  • Magnifique version, bravo aux chers chœurs de l'Armée rouge!
