  • I remember when Aaron Brown started out in Seattle way back when. I thought to myself that he would go far and he has. A very smart person and seemed to have a lot of insight into whatever story he was delivering at the time.

  • another CIA spook

  • I laugh at the Aaron Brown haters that seem to be out there. He was better and more personable on the air then 95% of the news people you see on today. And from someone who ACTUALLY knew him in person, he is a caring and selfless individual.

  • He was an arrogant a-hole in Seattle, just as he was on CNN. Good riddance.

  • I saw him on CNN. He is a DIP SHIT. FUck him to hell

  • "Self-indulgent". You said it pal. Aaron Brown is a pompous ass.

  • He was good on King 5 with Renner and the sports person in the mid 80's. It's possible he is a dick, I saw an interaction later on between him and Amy Goodman and he was a dick in that.

  • You know what? Anderson Cooper has never matched the ratings Aaron Brown had in the same time slot on CNN. I like Anderson too, but Aaron was different.

  • @somewhatlongdong WRONG. He's getting great ratings right now, and every time there's a disaster anywhere, his ratings are good, so there.

  • no body liked him much back in Seattle

  • he was great

  • And good riddance. I can't stand him.

  • NBC should snag Brown to host Meet the Press.

  • He just signed on to work at PBS, so that's probably not possible.

  • A buddy of mine worked at a fish market in North Seattle and Aaron would come in. He said Aaron was a dick.

  • loved him

  • Is He still with CNN?

  • Nope.

  • He'll always be linked to 9-11

  • What I liked about Aaron was that he was not merely a "talking head", you felt you knew him a little bit. I thought he was genuine, some others, not, but I really liked him.

  • Aaron Brown is the simply the best!!!! He came and spoke at my journalism class at Pacific Lutheran University in the early 80's when he was anchoring the news at KIRO. Total class. Where is he now???

  • He is teaching at ASU in Tempe at the Cronkite School of Journalism.

  • @rice1056 I'm in his class at ASU and I absolutely love him. He's such a nice guy and a wonderful journalist.
