@corsomail1 The pipe was installed by the owner of the system to save money. There were some issues there for sure. The payback is quite rapid in a situation like this where he is relying on diesel power. I am an amateur in the true sense that I love my work :-)I have installed quite a number of low budget hydros and they don't always look slick or professional. But they do the job and deliver low-cost reliable electricity.
we are a small community in the philippines and wanted to have our own hydro generator as we are based on a small water source we are very interested to know how much the total cost for the whole system, better yet if you can also provie us to where we can get also them.
@AlternativePowerMan The rocks were beign sucked in through gaps in the pipe joins because the turbine was being shut down by closing the top end of the pipe and this created a vacuum.
I hope you get all the bugs worked out. What a fantastic way to power your life. Beautiful power station. Mine is a huge factory like structure with smokestacks that spew coal pollution. Your is a lake. *****

We did some work on the pipe joins and I don't think it happens any more. The turbine is by ecowavesystems
