1#) Lesley is going on vacation because she doesn't know about his tumor. Rick swore Monica to secrecy and he doesn't even know about the tumor - just knows he's having heart problems. He didn't want her to worry or ruin her vacation.

2#) Last appearance on the show is April 1994. She's in the office with Rick discussing possibly losing Mike to Ginny. DA has disagreement with GM and no more DA appearances. Lesley 'dies' the following week. GM did same to Finola in 1991 with a recast vs death.

Does anyone know where I can find the scenes on UTubve from the first two clips on this montage?? Lesley & Rick at the fireplace and then in the bedroom?? I don't remember if these took place before or after they remarried in 1983..... Would love to revisit those clips........But can't seem to track them down.... Thanks!!!

OMG I love these! They were the first couple I loved. So perfect. I stopped watching when they killed her off the first time. I was done. No Rick and Lesley the show wasnt worth watching. Hhahaha God I loved them. The writing was so good back then now everything is mob central and sucks. *sigh* thatnks for posting.

Too bad it all came to an end because DA wanted time off so Gloria decided to kill her off. Then came Ginny Blake. I stopped watching GH when Rick married Ginny! That was just going too far. Ginny was never going to replace Lesley!!!!!

Rick and Lesley rocked!!!! A couple whose foudnation was not based on lies, deception, co-dependency or the mob. GH doesn't have another couple that comes close to these two------- no matter what Guza wants us to believe!!!

I'm from Germany, so my english is not so well, but I would like to say, that I put all your clips with Lesley and/or Rick Webber scenes in my favourites.If you have any scenes from her or him, please! post it, you would do an big, big favour to an old GH-Fan!!!

In german TV they bring the 1978-1983 scenes between 1988-1990. I saw it, when I came back from school. That are wonderful memories.

No, that wasn't their last scene. This was just Lesley ie DA going on vacation when Rick found out he had the tumor on his heart August of 1983.

Lesley doesn't "die" until March or April of 1984. And now Luza the hack is going to kill her for REAL this time.

Hi there. i know your response is two years old, but sounds like you have a good handle on the R&L timeline. I'm still trying to get caught up after being away from it for 26 years, so hoping you can fill in a few gaps for me. #1) The scene with where Les is wearing the peach dress:You said she was going on vaca. Why would she go sway if Rick had a heart tumor?? Odd. #2)I know Lesley's death aired 4/94, but when was her last appearance on the show. #3)Did the ever kill her off for good?

@romabriere She doesn't know. She goes away thinking Rick has taken up with Monica again. Monica is Rick's doctor and he keeps it very hush hush about his problem and the tests he has Monica run.

DA's last appearance is the Friday prior. Gloria Monty was mad that DA was going to another show because contract renewal talks fell through and she immediately had Lesley 'killed' off.

@romabriere Lesley is very much alive. It's written in 1998 that she was made to look like she died in that accident. Stefan Cassadine was trying to protect her and gave her a drug that made her appear dead.

She was kept away for many years. She was brought back and was childlike at first. She gained her full mental capacity back eventually but never returned to medicine. She sees Rick again in 2002 where Luza totally rewrites history and makes Rick a serial cheater. He's killed off.
