  • use fence sitters don't no jack shit go out and try it your self and see how easy it is NOT

  • Monty is my cousin, and we plan on having our two year old trained by him next spring

  • fags!

  • I know a girl who had a horse trained by this guy. She was hoping to take it to futurity. I think both of them pushed it too hard before it was mentally ready because it was doing very well and then all of sudden it was like its brain went PIFF! Now the horse can barely be handled.

  • he holds too hard on the spin so his horses travel and never plant a pivot foot... I've seen better trainers than this guy

  • dads girl

    [ ha ha ha ha!!]

  • Reining is actually supposed to be done with little bit contact, and rarely any spur. The horse is meant to be light off your aids and responsive enough to do the maneuvers. People who do otherwise aren't really reining :)

  • nice video!!

  • fantastico!!!!!

  • I don't know if "ropefast" or "vaginalcancer" have ever ridden or trained a cowhorse, but i think you guys need to post a video of your horses doing it better and cleaner. Unless you have the buckles or winnings to back up what your saying, shut up.

  • I agree

  • They are right.......I do reined cow horse and they have very valid points......90 percent of the judges I show under would count those manuvers down....the other 10 percent credit them.

  • My dad usta work for monty =D he's a great guy and a great trainer

  • i really love his work. amazing horses and amazing trainer.

  • oh and when he spins his horses they hop around like bunnys with their hind legs!

btw. sry for my english ;)

  • cmon look at how he pulls on the reins and how the horse opens its mouth on 1:18! thats a good rider/trainer? a well trained horse backups by just lifting the reins and change of weight in the saddle or by your voice!!!

  • I'm with you cancer... or showing your legs...and to high of a head for my taste.

  • You don't ride with your voice. A true horseman will be able to transfer his wishes to the horse through weight, hands, legs, and maybe the occasional clicking or something. But a horse trained to stop, go, or back up on verbal command isn't a well-trained horse in my opinion.

  • what about the whoooooaaaaaa button!

  • i agree to that; and i also had to experience that some horses even dont have the will or talent to listen well enough to verbal commands... my own e.g. "responds" (which does not need to mean that it really does something then, when it's a new movement he just stares until i tell him more precise) to every single movement i make (does not work with other people :D), but i couldnt teach him any verbal commands^^

  • @AmiFortuanto4evr I ride my reiner with some voice commands and in my opinion to ask a horse to whoa with no hands and only seat and the word whoa displays more training than a horse you have to pull on to stop. Just saying.

  • My dad usta work for Monty bruce

  • otiimo...

  • holy crap my mom needs a cutting horse trainer her horse is out of a cutting mare and reining stud so she is breed for both

  • that's cool! -is jealous-

  • awesome skills!

  • a really great video! does someone know the names of the songs??

  • Gorgeous horses. Wonderful skills, as well.

  • i really liked the slow motion stop and roll back at the end..it was cool. when he did the bareback and bridleless spin, he let the horse look at his outside leg which is not a good thing.

  • You have to know and love horses to appreciate such tallent of both the horse and rider. Great job!

  • love the bareback spin

  • one of the best!!

  • that black and white paint had a fantastic stop!

  • these horses really dig in, great video
