I remember the Gohan and Videl scenes and even as a kid I went "aww" when Videl trusted Gohan with the senzu bean as well as how Gohan was going apeshit when she was getting brutalized AND when Gohan is "killed" by Buu. The Cell and Buu sagas probably emitted the most amount of emotion from me, and that's saying a lot for DBZ: a show all about action. Gohan and Videl was the most solid romance/relationship in the show and I'm so glad that you gave them recognition.

I'm kinda disappointed that Edward Elric and Winry Rockbell from Full Metal Alchemist wasn't on this list. Although it wasn't hinted very much in the original anime, it was definitely in the manga, as well in brotherhood, which was the closer to the manga remake of the original anime.

@PITZWIL79 Much as I love them, there wasn't enough signals that Ed felt the same way, if he truly did he wouldn't have been so careless as to ditch her along with everyone else by hopping off to another world. I felt Ed was immeasurably rude to everyone who cared about him in the show (besides his brother) and was inconsiderate of how much he meant to them ESPECIALLY Winry. He was not fair to Winry at all, THAT is why they are not on this list.

@BionicSlime I highly recomend watching it then its a nice series. Its so well done (and at some points it might make you cry). Its basically about this girl trying to revive the drama club. Its a sad series but its really good.

Gohan and Videl were definitely the best DBZ couple. I think they seemed to have the most effort since Dragonball as far as pairings go. In DB ChiChi & Goku and Bulma & Yamcha were written pretty well (even though both were young love). In DBZ I thought that Bulma and Vegeta got together too quick and it seemed like just a way to have Mirai Trunks show up.

@Nightman221k The only reason it seemed quick was because it happened during the Androids training period. In truth, I don't see how they could have really shown it because as similar as they are to each other, neither of them really can explain their love for each other. Its always been a secret, both are too proud to brag or be emotional about it so they just keep it down and it shows in how they act with each other. So if you ask me, I think it makes a lot of sense for handling it this way.

@BionicSlime Good point, it makes sense why they'd be magnetized toward each other but I still would have liked to have seen some of the moments where they got closer since it would have been an interesting layer to the story.

lol I was just wondering why you didn't choose Clannad, and I see clearly why from other comments.....yeah seeing how much you seem to like stories like that, you really need to watch that one. Watch Clannad and Clannad After Story. That show impacted me so much, I bawled like a woman at a real good love story

Like the list even though i did not see a couple of these anime. I do question gohan and videl over holo and lawrence. I wouldve liked to see Tomoya and Nagisa from Clannad be here somewhere here too because of how their relationship evolved but overall solid list.

@HumanoidSlayer Have not seen Clannad yet and as for Gohan and Videl compared to Lawrence and Holom Gohan and Videl have a lot more conviction and legitimacy in their love. If Holo and Lawrence actually did confess their feelings and quit all this playful banter, I'd love them even more.

@BionicSlime Fair argument, the Gohan and Videl pairing did have a lot of conviction and by far the strongest romance in DBZ. The thing about Holo and Lawrence is that playful banter makes them a very likable duo and they bounce off of each other so well when interacting in the series and also if you have watched season 2 their relationship became more serious near the end. ill just say you should watch clannad cuz the couple there is really good and also you have a new subscriber lol

@sxcflava I wish they were. I LOVE them as a couple but I think Ed treats Whinry way too shitty in the show, and even if he doesn't love her the same way, i still feel he was very unfair to a lot of people who care about him.

@BionicSlime Ouch... o well u did, sorry about that. I still blame you though, it's because your videos are so interesting that I couldn't resist to watch despite the spoilers ^^. You could always try to be more discreet and not shout out loud like "SHE DIES AT THE END!" but try something like "The ending is very sad and these who watched it know what I'm talking about". Besides it's quite hard to sense a spoiler beforehand especially if none of your other picks contained spoilers almost at all

@Daniel9DJ Actually, my other couples DID have spoilers. Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, Dirty Pair: Project Eden, Slayers, Mahoromatic. ALL of those contained spoilers. Just because you haven't seen them doesn't mean they are not spoilers.

@BionicSlime Well your right again. What I should have said is that even if I carried about all these animes equally the CC spoiler would still be the most brutal one. All the other spoilers compared to CC weren't all that big of a deal. The CC spoiler spoils something as important as main heroins dramatic death at the end of the series so it is quite a hit. And on the top of that I recently putted CC on my "To Watch List" so it was exceptionally painful to have it spoiled in such a manner.

@Daniel9DJ That depends on one's opinion of "a big deal". The emotional issues and concerns with Bubblegum were a very big deal, Mahoromatic dealt with dramatic death, something you mentioned CC did. I'm sorry you were spoiled but I can't say much more other then part 1 gave you a warning. If I say spoilers are going to be revealed then its very reasonable to assume every show listed can have a spoiler, otherwise I would have said "I won't spoil this show" like I set up my Scream film reviews.

@BionicSlime By Big Deal I meant the size of the spoiler, how much the spoiler reveals, not how dramatic or emotional it is. In my opinion from that angle CC was the biggest spoiler. Bubblegum only reveals that Maki is a boomer and in Mahoromoric you only mentioned that she disappears and comes back years later. Still nothing beats CC spoiler if you look at it this way. Even if you look at it from the dramatic and emotional angle CC is still your nr.1 isn't it?

@Daniel9DJ Actually, Mahoro she didn;t...I'm gonna stop so as not to spoil anything else . Yes CC is still my number one but trust me, when you watch the series its not a complete shock the show kinda sets the it up to go down this route. Besides, there are other spoilers that i didn't mention and when you see the actual ending, trust me, the emotional response will be just as effective as if you didn't see it coming.

Chrono Crusade: brilliant series with great characters. You just can't go wrong with it, period.

My top ten in pairings (in no particular order) is like so: Kaoru/Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin), Shikimaru/Temari (Naruto), Batman/WonderWoman (Justice League animated series), Belldandy/Keichi (Ah My Goddess), Mikoto/Mai (Mai Hime), Wash/Zoe (Firefly), Jinto/Lafiel (Crest of the Stars), Natsumi/Miyuki (You're Under Arrest), Yusuke/Keiko (Yu Yu Hakusho), Ryoko/Shizuma (Real Bout High School)

@BlueDemonofFire Couldn't agree with you more, brilliant is the right word for that show! Btw, its so nice to FINALLY see someone who also sees Shikamaru and Temari are together and I TOTALLY agree and love Batman and WW from Justice League's cartoon. I always was SO pissed they never showed more of that, they were such a great couple and they played awesomely off of each other. Especially during the the Thanigar invasion.

Ah My Goddess..it's a classic, and if you doubt their devotion to eachother, you either never touched a bit of the series, or are a moron. Normally, I dislike characters like Belldandy because they feel too dull, but they pulled it off so spectacularly that she is a poster girl for anime.

Dragon Ball was good for the action, but not for its romances. Didn't like how anyone who fell for a Sayain (probably spelled that wrong) seemed to go from take-charge and independent to completely reliant.

@BlueDemonofFire To be fair though, the show never was meant to be romantic so the fact they were able to get so many couples made is amazing in a feat all its own. The thing is though it makes PERFECT sense that the Saiyans wives are take charge kinda women, the Saiyans are the strongest fighters in the universe so it makes natural sense that they would need equally strong people to tie them down. Sides, after living with someone for years on end, you get used to your spouses' habits/routines.

Again this is a list of my favorite anime couples, I've seen plenty of couples before and not all of them are on here because, like I said, these are my top personal favorites.

I agree completely with Gohan and Videl. This was the only one in DBZ that I felt worked entirely. Chichi and Goku come close, Vageta and Bulma is a complete WTF where I seriously want to know when and how it happened (I keep thinking I missed something but everywhere I go I see people saying there was never a moment where either proposed or admitted his/her love for the other) but like you said Videl/Gohan had a lot of real development. And since there are requests: top anime heroes maybe?

@slashermaster28 I will probably do an anime heroes list at one point. Far as Vegeta and Bulma goes, you have to understand Vegeta is not an affectionate person. He's just not that kind of person and the reason they came together is because they are very much alike: dominant, pushy, aggressive, gets their way a lot.

It did come suddenly but I can easily see how they fell for each other but remember, not every couple likes to show affection openly. Plus down the line, Vegeta did warm up a bit.

@lundpyara how would that work? except for stuff on CN/Adult Swim nearly all anime is in some way unless it's complete garbage like Eiken and even then it's just laughable to the point some could think it isn't garbage and thus to them would be underrated. Tops are subjective but when you do underrated it is casting a wide net as technically all the animes in this one video aside from DBZ can be in it and just a rehash. it's why I like AVGN's set; "Movies not as bad as everyone says."

@lundpyara really it all stems on what you mean by underrated? if you mean not enough people know about it Monster doesn't count and and belongs more to a, unnoticed list like the series Wonderfalls. If you mean because people don't like it then it'd be stuff BS would have to feel is the same as Alpha and Omega where HE saw an anime that others bashed that he thought was pretty good or gave 6 out of 10 to when it was amazing. stuff like that.

@BionicSlime I know you've watched a lot of anime, but i also plan to make a video like that once i've watched enough anime. For the Op's i would reccomend GTO, Ergo Proxy, and Devil May Cry. As for Endings I reccomend the Soul Eater endings, they are by far the best endings i have ever seen.
