I did a summer intensive program (the first year they did one) when I was 16 and it, quite literally, changed my life. I was a new dancer after that summer.

Lovely! I love the description of this piece too. Music is such an important part of dance and I wish people knew more about it and its history.
My sister is a professional dancer and she accredits the success of her career to Alonzo (she danced with Hubbard Street for 13 years). She has great respect for him and his works. I really want to get out to San Francisco to take some classes...

So beautiful. This is one of the companies that
is taking ballet into the future. An evening with them is a life of art education. Wish I could see them more.
