@Monoxide1987 well as my window is closed or completly open it doesnt make a rattling noise. but the back window moves from the bass when i turn sometimes and it starts to rattle and its annoying as hell. unfortunetly i havent found a way to stop it lol if you do let me know
@slipknotzi It's not the window rattling! It's the interior panel! I have 2 Kicker 12" CVR's in mine running off of 700 watts rms topping out about 1400 watts (total for both). When I removed the panel/trim under the window the rattling went down significantly. I used door weather stripping (like a 1/2 foam with adhesive on one side) and put it on the back of the panels so there was a "cushion" on them.

@yoboynic I havent heard anything bad about audiobahn, but I've also never worked with them. Hopfully they are clean or its going to sound lick crap cuz its right behind you. is it going to be a slot port or tube? cuz tubes make a dirty noise your guna hear.
@yoboynic I really wouldnt recomend that. its going to sound really dirty. outside the truck will sound good lol ports like that are ment for trunks or large SUVs cuz you cant hear the distortion from far away. if posible sell those boxes and get 2 nice slot port boxes or one big one. trust me itll sound much much beter. the box is 50% of the bass.
iv ALWAYS been a kicker fan myself. and yeah they r ALOT louder than rockford but they are not no where near as clean as RF. they way i look at is it that kicker is lound and not very accuret with their bass. RF isnt as loud but they have alot cleaner sounding bass. much more accuret bass though. and this is comeing from a guy who has had 9 systems in which 5 were kicker systems, 1 RF system
im lovin this set up. im thinkin about putin two 10" subs in mine. i need a 1000 amp for them i believe. ive never do this so i was wonderin how hard the wiring was and did you have to make any extreme mods on the vehical to be able to run those.
@constructlife19 well wiring the truck is easy. wiring the box can get confusing if you dont know what your doing. for 2 subs your gunna want 2 daul 4 ohm subs. wired in parallel for 1 ohm or series for 2 ohms. and if your getting a kicker amp they arent stable at 1 ohm.

If you were really "smart" you get a better sub if your so concered with sql, but 2 vs 3 subs sound the same as far a quality goes, as long as they are all in faze and runing a stable ohms for the amp. I've installed several systems like this and they all sound good. I am big on sql, thats why I got rid of those dirty cvrs upgraded to a rockford T2.
hifonics is pretty much the same quality as kicker just half the price lol.The T2 is 430 bucks lol but its worth it. it dumps! it beats my friends 2 12 alpine type Rs running 1200 rms. its got a 60 bl 3 layer magnet on it and stands 9" tall. lol if anything though get a rockford amp they are super reliable and clean.
i noticed a hudge difrencce from when i went to the kicker at 45 hz it warpes the roof of the car and i also got a 600watt amp going to dj speakers in the back becuae i got an old 1984 chevy suburban and i have lotts of room .

and no, old school subs are not the best. Sure there are some subs that were ahead of there time back then and helped set the standard for todays technology seen in todays products, but technology improves as times progresses not the other way around. you don't have a clue Iver by the sound of it. my system kicks hard and plus i had my amps n head unit (pioneer) tuned by a audio tech guy and he said clever idea with the 2 12s and 2 15s because as long as the 12s are none ported it works or the other way round because it will cancel out the bass otherwise. my setup is for personal use not comps so I'm happy. i wasn't implying my setup is better than this you just took a comment and thought i was hating so i struck back. i love any sub install!
and as for the "old" subs i searched hard to find these subs because that's what i wanted they are new but yes the old models. out of the cvr and comp model the comps are better as i know this because i had the cvr dual coil subs before these and they where shit, these hit alot harder and don't bottom out. i also tried alpine and jbl subs and they were shite to. i still have the alpine and jbls but they will never go in a install. someone can even have em for free, that's how much good they are.

5x7s all around. but I have amplified 5 1/4 components now cuz they dont make high power 5x7s. alpine type Rs come with a converter bracket to make the 5 1/4s fit.

Im saving you right now. Please please please dont get kicker. kickers quality took a dump about 3 years ago. they do nothing but break. Rockford fosgate is the best on the market. 15" P3 is what you want. I just installed one in an acura and it sounds amazing and hits like a beast.

and no, old school subs are not the best. Sure there are some subs that were ahead of there time back then and helped set the standard for todays technology seen in todays products, but technology improves as times progresses not the other way around. The only exception would be headunits, but thats a different argument. Go learn what youre doing before you go bashing someone elses install dumbass

you don't have a clue Iver by the sound of it. my system kicks hard and plus i had my amps n head unit (pioneer) tuned by a audio tech guy and he said clever idea with the 2 12s and 2 15s because as long as the 12s are none ported it works or the other way round because it will cancel out the bass otherwise. my setup is for personal use not comps so I'm happy. i wasn't implying my setup is better than this you just took a comment and thought i was hating so i struck back. i love any sub install!

and as for the "old" subs i searched hard to find these subs because that's what i wanted they are new but yes the old models. out of the cvr and comp model the comps are better as i know this because i had the cvr dual coil subs before these and they where shit, these hit alot harder and don't bottom out. i also tried alpine and jbl subs and they were shite to. i still have the alpine and jbls but they will never go in a install. someone can even have em for free, that's how much good they are.

5x7s all around. but I have amplified 5 1/4 components now cuz they dont make high power 5x7s. alpine type Rs come with a converter bracket to make the 5 1/4s fit.

yah mud flap came with the truck... the blackouts on the lights are caps so I can remove them for inspection (I live in jeresy everything is illegal)... the flame thing I thought was kool w/e... and give me a break that was my first system install and it wasnt that bad. bumpers are stock its the Edge package for the ranger.

Im saving you right now. Please please please dont get kicker. kickers quality took a dump about 3 years ago. they do nothing but break. Rockford fosgate is the best on the market. 15" P3 is what you want. I just installed one in an acura and it sounds amazing and hits like a beast.
