Used to go down Canal Street most Saturday nights. Was in Manchester with a friend on Monday night, and decided to go down there for old times sake.... wish I hadn't bothered!!

Precious little queens looking down their noses at everybody like they were something on their shoe in most of the bars we went in.

Not anti-scene, but glad I got away from it all.

@Fandabbadozee completely agree with you. U may want to step one street back now to Molly House, Icon and Eagle Bar which are truely gay bars.

Thanks mate, may come back and have a look. It was just such a huge anti-climax to a night that we had been looking forward to for about a week.

We weren't allowed in Mantos as we were told by the bouncer that it was 'regulars only' throughout the week, which I thought was a bit frosty, considering that we had travelled quite far to get to Manchester.

I guess there is good and bad in every community, just a shame the queens have to spoil it for the gay scene.....
