i was just arguing the name of the vid, should be dually's instead of diesels, not saying i think they dont sink my dad has one close 2 this,(98 3500 5.9 dually 4x4) ive fucked around with it, they're heavy suckers, but what i was getting at is duallys suck in mud and most people would have recognized that and stayed away from it if they didnt have something else to pull it out with.
electric winches are usualy faster, and can run for a lil while even if the engine isnt running, bad thing is if you continuously use it alot theres a chance of over heating the motor.. i'd recommend adding a dual battery setup and a larger alternator..
as for the hydralic, its runs off the ps and you wnt have to worry about messig anything up if you use it constantly, bad thing is it's slower and if for some reason youre engine stalled and you cant get it running again that means youre winch will also not work
Simply, that means mud does not care what brand you are driving. The laws of physics are the same for dodge, chevy and ford. The second guy, in fact, had a chevy, but said it did not have enough power to pull us out.
not having street tires makes a big difference too.

Hey! I resemble that remark! Though if you think a cummins won't sink and stick in any soft ground so do you.

The other stuck truck wasn't a dually. I think the roughly 4500lbs on one set of tires(front) is where we get into trouble. They simply sink.

I think the problem is you dont know how to drive. your stuck in a puddle GG.

um, i think you mean "resent"

you gotta treat your 2wd dually like a big truck, plenty of power to tow anything just you get off road and your screwed..

best thing to buy is a winch, then 2nd best thing to buy for youre truck are lockers...then tires..
those 3 things and you shouldnever get stuck again

We had a comealong. Much too slow, and nothing near enough to pull off of.
My only question with winches... electric or hydraulic?

Yes, a different badge would have dried up the mud, altered gravity, etc. Read a book, physics preferably.

Profanity also will not be allowed.
