  • I wonder what will happen if she is presented with same words but on different paper or in different font sizes. Can she still recognize the "words?"

  • Id attended several educational talks and development for babies to toddlers and its not impossible for babies this young to learn to read. It goes by letters recognization followed by actions and phonics repeatedly several times a day. its just like a daily conversation plus extra hard effort for d parents to stress each word into letters constructing words n actions. well done to mummy and daddy!

  • To: Guitarzero

and what sense made him touch the part of his body that the card said....?

  • I'll definitely do that to my baby.....kids love learning new stuff..especially if you make it playful

  • It's not that hard. Baby's pick up on stuff like that really quickly, like how they pick up on the whole "raspberry" thing. My dad taught us that. And said it whenever he walked by my mom when she was feeding us. Ha, needless to say, she was pissed.

  • wow smart kid i didnt learn that until i was like 6! jk

  • IMITATION is called... and is used by the conductual theory, for learning by Modeling. (Bandura, 1977)

Nevertheless, she is a very intelligent baby. And cute, by the way.

    Congratulations!!

  • hahhaa, wow this is what i call smart kid, bless.

  • when that kid gets older she's going to be a scientest or something

  • That was really cute! That baby is going to colledge period. Lol ^^ Jk What do I know. But I'm sure she will be very sucessful in school.

  • IS she deaf? Is that why you're teaching her this?

I mean it is really cool! She's really smart but what is your reason for teaching it?

  • SMART KID! funny too

  • kool

  • OMG! When did you start teaching her this? That's amazing.

  • ja mislim da owaj cowjek matletira owo dijete

    dresira ga ka pashche

  • can i bring your baby to college with me? just in case... lol

  • proof if you spend quality time with children they can learn anything good work parents and that is a real cute and smart baby

  • wow!!

  • It's not that hard to get a baby to repeat whatever the person off camera is doing as daddy holds up a card...how do you think they get animals to act in movies?! Come on people. She's obviously a very smart baby...smarter than most of us watching it appears...hehehe

  • thank god these people are teaching their children. My parents taught me too, i was reading and talking at a very young age. I was good at solving puzzles and memorizing entire dr. suese books lol, but hey those are tricky.

  • ...and now you're a billionnaire,right?

  • ummm...skrew you mr. negative.

  • Shit :O

  • Fantastic

  • omg!!!

  • how do you do that?

  • Big deal at 9 months i was doing algebra.

  • i was doing geometry

  • I was doing calculus...ya'll stop being dumb

  • OMFG, thats so good!

  • Dude. I'm not that smart, and I'm 29!!

  • easy trick, even a dog can do it. well minus the motor abilty. But this is proof that kids can learn-- but it doesn't mean she's reading i.e. pronouncing the word- she's begining to recognize the symbols (letters) but does not know the symbols represent sounds- at this stage she knows that a certain combination of symbols stands for the respective body art.

  • no shit dumbass..its still good though..damn..quite fuckin hatin

  • I'm not really hating, I think all parents should see this, it teaches you that you can teach children how to behave according to signs and symbols. Instead parents just let their kids run around watch tv and then think the kid will learn everything when they get to school. If parents don't sit down with their kids between the ages of 0-3 and even attempt to teach them like this parent did-- it's no wonder why schools struggle.

  • thank you so much. i struggle conveying this same message without anger. some people (my friends in paticular) don't even KNOW they CAN teach their small children because they themselves weren't given proper attention/teaching. when i visit friends, their children are like monkeys.

  • wow, what a baby!

  • omg
