One of the biggest problems I have had to coach kid beginners is how to make sure that both of your skates stay parallel and don't spread to the side.
Sometimes it takes a skater a long time to master that first position of down and wheels going straight rather than spreading to the side. Once they can hold that position for an entire straight away then S-t-Duck becomes easier. Congrats on having fun with your Fall
