AE is probably my favorite program, period. Without a doubt, I recommend it for all your compositing and effects. As far as a frame organizer... hmmmm. I guess you can use AE, but I think it'd be a lot easier to get a program like Frame Thief or some other onion skin/frame capture program. If you plan on using a scanner, and/or doctoring your images frame by frame, maybe Photoshop is your best route. It just depends on how you're going to capture your images really.
Absolutely amazing! The incredible energy, mix of styles and wild imagery had me mesmerized! This is why I love Toon Boom! It is capable of so much in talented hands. Keep up the great work, I wish you much success! And btw, I love Mooglie Chop, just so much fun to listen to! :)
houston: You're welcome! What's weird is that in the 2 weeks since I posted my comment, I tried animation on my own using Photoshop CS3 extended and it was so hard! I now have even MORE respect and awe for what you were able to create. It's breathtaking. My cartoon guys didn't move around as much as yours. LOL.
How long did it take to animate it all? And is there a program that makes animation easy?
Don't get discouraged! This clip is a collection of various things I did over 1.5 yrs, from late 05 to early 07. So it's not a very realistic goal to make something in a 2 week intro to the software! I also use CS3 apps and Toon Boom Studio. Also, I've got a new 10 min cartoon coming out in the next 2 months... if you email me, I'll put you on the mailing list to receive the secret link to view it once it's complete (lots of CS3 stuff in this next toon). info at houstonedit dot com
Thanks for the encouragement. I think I'll have to get Toon Boom studio to really take my animation to the next level. I would love to see your new project. By the way, the song in this is really catchy; did you record it? And what's the MTV logo at the end all about?
Thanks! I made the song myself, and the MTV logo is for a concept that I planned to eventually pitch to MTV. Hasn't happened as of yet, so the promo's still baking in my hard drive.
I brought 2D animation (from Toon Boom Studio, Flash, and hand-drawn image sequences) in After Effects in a 3D environment. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the positive feedback!
This is the most sick animation witch i have even seen
._.
Dude you are awesome ^^

... That was creepy and cool at the same time xD;
Though I don't think I'll get into animation that much... I've only made one so far, and I still need to finish it...
