@utcada There were only 46 P40s on the Amtrak system-the P42s didn't arrive until 2001 or 2002. F40s were there because there wasn't enough Genesis engines to have two on a train, as they were needed in the New York area for operation through the Hudson River tunnels in which the F40s could not operate in.
note the ditch lights not alternating, and that paint scheme just looks soo good on the genesis' and all locomotives, for that matter

Funny how that view still looks exactly the same today! It would've been built up with subdivisions in that time here!

i'm not sure. they usually always had an F40 paired with them tho lol for some reason.
