  • Hey everyone-

I just have a special request, could you check out and subscribe to my channel? I have very good tips on bird training, info on picking the right bird for your family, fun facts and there will soon be many videos on Macaws, Love Birds, Conure's, Parakeets, Budgies and more! Thanks!

  • it looks over decorated?

  • @foncervspk Actually, Love birds like alot of toys, and stuff. Alot of human and toy interaction especially things that make noise, shake, and are colorful are good for the training process.

  • I noticed it looked like the tray in bottom of cage did not have anything in it... .Is it easier to clean that way? I LOVE ALL UR VIDEOS . My blackmasked lovies LOVE to hear ur birds sing and jabber . I do too .....now i want a peachfaced lovie !!!!!!!!

  • @suelovescats lol they have paper towels on the bottom.

  • The boing!!!! I love all the toy names and toys available. Those birds look and sound so happy :)

  • Bird Nerd.

  • @fumerdan101 Not even one. Our pairs are in a 26 inches long by 20 inches wide.

  • for a lovebird cage is it the bigger the better and is there a point where the cage could be to big?

    thanks

  • Ok.... I WANT THAT CAGE!!! Lol, it looks like birdie heaven. It looks like my heaven.... lol, What do you think the best toy for a bird is?

  • i hav room for a 10 gal tank wide and it can be rather high is that ok?

i want 2 love birds or a Quaker parakeet

  • @thechattyone1 Birds need a cage, not a tank. That would be cruel.

  • @stargazrt4

i ment i got rid of aaa 10 gal tank and i have the space for a cage wide

i wount use a 10 gal tank lol

  • where do you get this cage from?

  • U guys sure noe how to take care of birds

  • what if you have 3 lovebirds? what do u do?

  • @NatalyLuv2Swim unless you have a flock, you should avoid lovebirds by the odd number :) its just cuz one of them might get singled up, for example two of three could gang up on the third.

these love birds look sooo happy, and are soo cute. i want to get a cage like that for my next lovie

  • oh man from where u buy such nice toys for the birds ..In Bulgaria there are no such toys and btw the cage is really clean.. i have to clean my lovebirds cage almost every day T_T

  • We buy it from ourselves! We have a bird store. Check out our channel for a link. :)

  • @stargazrt4 but you two are from US and i'm from Bulgaria (its in Europe)

  • Ah but I do ship internationally! Check out the front page of my store for the international information and how to email me about it!

  • cool ok i could buy some toys

  • Sure, go to trueloveaviarydotcom!

  • how can u afford evry thing u hav

  • hax

  • We've just saved to spoil our birds. :)

  • i love reading comments of rude jerks that like to argue with you. i obviously trust that you guys know what your doing. i love you guys! i especially loved reading your response to benandjacko. lol. what idiots!

  • Oh thank you so much for your comment. That was so funny! LOL! (That made my day.) If they did not like them, then I would not have to replace their toys every 2 months. Once again, thank you for the laugh especially since the birds are playing with their toys right now!

  • Which lovebird do you think has the cutest color?

  • Could careless about color, it's all about the personality.

  • i used to have a cage like that but it was green

  • same here but my 2 lovebirds were escape artist they figured out how to unlock the top and learned how to unscrew the locks to keep them from escaping lol when i came home there was poop and ripped paper everywhere! O_o

  • wow those are coo lovebirds

  • youe accent is crazy. and your bird cage is cool.

  • Why do you not recomend dowl perches? My setup is about the same as yours. But my bird has 2 dowl perches. one rope and one stone perch. We use corn cob bedding. But he cant reach it.

  • Our vet doesn't recommend dowel perches because they can cause bumble foot which is VERY expensive to treat.

It isn't about whether or not the bird can reach the corn cob. Corn cob is conducive to spores that can be let off and harm your birds lungs and can kill them. Also, you can't keep track of how your birds' poop looks to keep an eye out for sickness or disease.

  • Woah, my birds dont have that many toys!! Lucky birdies!! I am saving up for more though!!!

  • I love watching your videos, TLA! I think I have probably seen them all. :) I have a question for you. I know Dewey and Sierra are one of you breeder pairs, and I noticed that you don't have a nest box in their cage in this video. Does that mean that even though you keep them in the same cage, they won't mate if they don't have their nestbox?

  • Dewey and Sierra have not had a nest box since this last summer. They have mated several times, but they have not laid any eggs either. So they will mate without a nest box and birds will lay eggs without a nest box also, but D & S simply have not at this moment. Sierra although isi acting very nesty and territorial so we have to watch her at this time. I know, this probably sounds confusing, but bird answers, especially with our flock, is never a black or white answer.

  • i hav the same cage i got 3 cages 1 is for the lovebird to live in and a breeding cage and cage for the babies

  • You do not need to look for more information on the net or pet store people, here is the only information you need. Parrots, like lovebirds, who hull their seed do not need grit to break down the outside of the seed's covering. Thus, if you give a parrot sand or grit, they can not digest it. It stays in the crop and eventually causes an impaction.

  • Parrots should never have grit or sand. It will be trapped in the crop a the bird will eventually die. The water bowl is on the left.

  • wow those two cages look expensive!by the way i love those lovebirds!

  • hey wats good bro i just wondering were i can get the soft wood for them i got 5 budgies..thanks alot...sorry for the spelling...have a good1

  • from us.

  • how would i go about gettin it from u and how would i get the money to u...thanks again...

  • how long dose it take for your birds to breed

  • We work on trying to get them to stop breeding, but a lovebird is mature after 1.5 years.

    ~Rodney

  • u guys like to use finger traps alot. Do ur budgies like em'? I have 2 budgies and 1 lovebird.

  • Yes, they love 'em.

    ~Rodney

  • did u clip their wings

  • Their wings are not clipped.

  • what size cage do you get for 1 lovebird?

  • 18 by 18 is the smallest, but 24 by 24 is better with a half inch bar spacing.

    ~Rodney

  • i brought 2 lovebird like 8months ago i see them mating like twice a nite but still no eggs. why? i broke the bars and put a wooden box(or nest) but i didnt put anything in there.

  • Hi Rod,

I have 4 18 week beautiful babies. Anyway I can get them to you? I lost their Dad he died when they were 5 weeks old. I would love for you guys to sell them. I don't want anything but a good home for all of them.Let me know if you have any ideas.

  • I totally accidentally deleted a comment about the dangers of rope boings... I am really sorry. In response to that comment, these are rope perches that are connected on both ends and secure to the cage, so we are not worried. The ones with frilly rope threads on the ends that hang, we actually cut off the frilly part so that their feet do not get stuck.

  • This is Will! You guys rock!

  • i love it !! your birds are.... spoiled ! just the way i like it :D

  • a good size cage

  • That's very big cage.

  • how much does the rope perch cost? btw nice set up you sure do know how to spoil them lol :)

  • Around $6. Thank you for your compliments.

    ~Rodney

  • in canadas king ed pet shop they are 3$ or more depending on the size but they are pretty cheap. i dont care how much they cost, I just want to make sure they are spoiled

  • I really need to work on my lovebirds' cage. It only has a wooden perch (attached to rope to make it a swing), two long plastic perchs that go from one end to the other end of the cage, and a short pink cement perch.

Is it okay for two lovebirds to share one food bowl and one water bowl? They are the square kind that hang onto the cage like you have.

  • Please do. You are the key to their happiness. If your lovebirds get alone, then it is fine. But if you are worried, supply two.

    ~Rodney

  • OMG! how do you have all the money in the world to buy so many toys for your birds! I got to be some new toys like five for my lovebird!

  • Actually, we made most of their toys.

    ~Rodney

  • show us how to make them they look fun for birds

  • blue thiiiinngsssss.... monkay ball....

  • you talk fast lol

  • Haha! Yes, I had a lot to say in a short period of time. At least that disguises my country accent some!

  • i have gone to your website but i need help. How can i see the lovebirds that i can adopt? plz reply

  • Right at this moment, our breeders are on eggs. You can see which ones are available under our contest announcement on the left side, though right now it just says how many eggs each pair has. We will update that as they hatch!

  • hey this is truck lover9 where can i get a bee polon perch thanks.

  • We sell them if you are interested! Email us at trueloveaviary@gmail....

  • how mucj are they for the smallest one. what else do you sell for budgies. thanks

  • The smallest one we have is $7.99. That's a pretty good price actually! We have bigger ones as well. Email us your needs and we can help!

  • OMG I LOVE THIS!!!!

  • I lOVE your cage set-up videos! I wish more people could be made aware of these bird "essentials" instead of relying on info gathered at petshops...

  • were did you get the cages. love the ramp and how it opens at the top! thank you

  • Got them from Petsmart, but not all Petsmarts are carrying them anymore. They do have them online though. Look up Top Wing Cages. You'll see it.
