I can confirm all the good things about the Sony HX5V. You'll find a couple of beautiful California Scenery HX5V zoom samples on my channel,too. Enjoy! It's the best camera I ever owned...

@AlecBurnett Yes there is. It's 29min as for the 30min Limit, not be declared a camcorder.

@urbanyogie 2. There's no timelaps function with the hx5v. At least not as far as i've been exploring my sony cam. Pretty sad, would have made the cam even better.

@Muscleduck i just bought one a week ago, I will try and upload some vids here soon. Its awesome, just buy an extra battery because it goes though power like crazy when shooting in 1080p.

The shot at 3:49 was amazing. The way you could zoom in from so far to be able to read the boat plate is nice. Incidentally the boat's plate also read 349 :)
