The essentials of positive relations are: Justice, Mercy, & GoodFaith.

These define Love, give Law it's authority, is Humane, and the difference between a Soul and Predator.

"Reason" confined by these, gives authority over the Universe, but outside of these, is meerly a clever Predator.

True Law ALWAYS upholds these principles, but "Pretext for Criminal Activity" violates these.

Self discipline & self accountability, the GREATEST traits, without these, NOTHING else can be applied well.

the vast majority of people in this world are absolutely awful (given the chance). a moral system has to be crystalized into a legal system that has to be policed and given weight with sanctions. in the REAL world, 'conservative' is frequently abuse. the US govt leads the way as an abuser - it used to lead the world. Bush will not be missed. i wish that dawkins could think like wilson - atheism would really take off then!

I'm very happy to see this verbal encapsulation of D.S.Wilson's book along with some practical examples. Thanks for posting his comments. I think he's absolutely brilliant.
