Ya, I've got that too it's great (art of dramatic writing). In Gene Roddenberry's biography he recommends it to his nephew who wants to be a writer, once I heard that I snatched it up, and actually intend to read this week again before I start writing my new project!
I am doing a 2-day workshop with Linda Seger, for her book How to make a good script, an excellent script. She is lovely. She is so clear about conveying the 3-act structure...
How come the 'writers' of these books have never had blockbuster best sellers? If they know the secrets then surely they would be richer than JK Rowling or Stephen King!
King wrote On Writing, especially for writers. He has sold gazillions...maybe he knows more than these 'experts'. Just a thought. :D
That character-development book sounds sweet! I hope to hell I can get it at the library. im reading "the art of dramatic writing" rite now, and i have "creating unforgetable charecters" on my bookshelfe waiting for me to get to it, hearing that these books have helped u is gonna make me finish reading them alot fasta thnx 4 all the gud vids, and great advice
Sounds cool, but the drawback here is that you have to read these books in order to obtain information from them. Is there any way these books can be put in a downloadable format so the information can be jacked to my robot brain?
