First make sure you have the latest iPhone firmware (click Check for Updates in iTunes), then go to the App Store, do a search for CubeCheater and it should come up. You can also get to it through the Utilities category of apps.

Years a came across a multi-step method to follow in solving the cube, but it was much more complicated than how the iphone solved it. . I used to be able to solve them quite quickly, but haven't been able to remember it for years.

It does work on the iPod Touch, but not with sync'd pics. You can just tap in the colors using the palette, which is a lot faster.
