So, I suppose the Companies are "Adam," being the beginning of the Pax Economica and the new world order. They're bureaucrats, which explains why it's "Mr." Adam.

I haven't been able to play AC in a while, last game I had was Silent Line. My build was one of those pesky bastards who was really fast and light with (seemingly) infinite energy supply and two Wyrms (the heavy rifles that fired twice in succession) and the ion cannon I think it was called. The cannon that was one weapon but took up both back slots ^_^

By now I bet the parts you can use to assemble an AC have probably tripled haha.

a handful of humanoid legs, two, if I recall, reverse joint legs, two quads I think, and definitely one tank leg. only a few weapon arms. No exceed orbits. Most traditional weapons are gone and only come back in the sequel, ACfA, such as chain guns.

I actually disliked the supplice model, although I respected berlioz. for all their bad maneuvering, the AI in both AC4 and ACfA are amazingly accurate with their heavy weapons. Roadie even more so in ACfA. He's pegged me from something like 300 meters while I'm OBing at 3000kph in Reg 1.2 in the final level before, repeatedly. Kinda sucks to see 10-20k drop from your life instantly.

you cant have custom legs made for you in Armored Core 4. I have no idea where you got that information.

You can, actually. You can even make your own with a glitch, too. Nobody can find a right combo for that, though. We can make stuff that can temporarly work, like an overboost covered over after shot with a weapon with high explosion range. That weakens us, but makes us able to run as fast with an overboost, without loosing anything. Its more like an AP sacrifice for speed. :_

After you beat it about 3 times on both normal and hard, its not that bad. But I had more luck with Lazer arms and two sholder Rail cannons.

That level was hell on the harder mode. Your partner goes to hell in less than a minute of combat, and they all got big shiny death weapons.

My strategy was to charge up 2 Kojima Cannons and knock out 1 or 2 while they were still OB'ing into the field, then use two railguns to pick off the rest.

advice: get as close to infinite flight on your mech as possible, load up your strongest grenades, then start again, by bombing the HELL out of them from above.

I actually had no problem on hard. I use a NEXT built for NEXT combat. Its actually kinda similar to Supplice. I use shoulder AS missles, one back grenade cannon, the heavy ANNR rifle, and the MARVE rfile. oh, and two laser blades in the hangars. I kinda burn through my EN fast, but its a pretty flexible set-up. I called the NEXT Grim Trigger

Well, right now I use a Mech called "Spotless", With Booster Enhancers on the back and shoulders, two motocobras on hand and two laser blades in the hangars. It's energy preserving, so it allows for extensive quickboost maneuvers.

hmm... so im guessing yours is a speed based AC? Those are pretty handy. My only problem with them is if you get hit with a grenade cannon your out. I prefer balanced NEXTs because i can be moderately fast and still carry good defense

yeah, I realized that after the "holy shit" moment, when I wiped out almost every single one of them with scatter missiles. by the way, it was "holy shit" in a "holy crap, that's awesome" way, not a "holy crap I'm scared" kind of way. I'm not one of the sudden influx of AC players that came with AC 4, I've been playing since the beginning. NOTHING scares you after Nine-Ball Seraph and Stinger fused with phantasm.
