In the US protesters are not provided with places for protesters to meet and effect change. In Libya under Gaddafi there were 6000 such meetingplaces - all official - and meant for ALL Libyans to meet, discuss and effwct change!!
@ dLimboStick "dissent" - what is actually meant with this? Libya had under al-Gathafi 6000 official meeting halls, where ALL Libyans were supposed to meet, exchange ideas and vote for change - changes that were then effected! Do you not mean with "dissent" armed rebellion in order to effect regime change? Do you believe this is accepted in the US, where police are at this moment cracking down violently and brutally on peaceful protesters? In the US, protesters are not provided with any places
@ dLimbostick No, there was no "heavy police control" in Libya. However, I am not so sure about the US, it seems to gradually more and more increase such control. This video is great, it is fun, has a great song and contains an important message!
I would say the country that is locked down so tight that their secret police can spy on all their citizens, and clear the parade route of anyone even suspected of dissidence, is probably the police state, while the country that allowed more personal freedoms has to provide closer security to it's leader because they can't clear the streets of all dissidents.
Gaddafi seems to be a great guy! what the fucks going on over there.I wish my fucking country would stop fucking around in the middle east...Why cant we all just get along....FUCK THE NEW WORLD ORDER!
LIBYA: From 17.06 - 19.07.11, 5 Million demonstrated against NATO and its rebels = 80 percent of libyans - that is why NATO does not accept Libyan offer of democratic elections supervised by UN and AU ! green Pro-Gadddafi-Demonstrations: Tripolis: youtube.com/watch?v=Q0XsF03fNM4 watch?v=1-UauWzcAkg watch?v=q4o2O2zePL4 watch?v=0p4MlvFGbao&NR=1 watch?v=MO_2LoKkajM watch?v=WCKM-A9Cryc watch?v=2kksYhNYuQs watch?v=XB97HznH4n4 watch?v=CEidZcZJ6AI watch?v=lx0YJz1ukYs watch?v=aX1DijkPgZ0&NR=1
A interesting commentary regarding irrational acts of the public. Could you elucidate further . As I could list a few that come to mind but I would like to see your point of view first.
This is a GREAT video... WOW.. it captures the essence of what is going on in the world today, and the difference between these nations. While one (us) proclaims to promote freedom and all that B.S... in reality, that is NOT the case, as it is seen here in this video. Osama oops I mean Obama dare not parade the streets of the US ""unprotected"" or he would be CAPUT !!!
Note the case for Gaddafi in his great country of Libya!! Long Live Gaddafi!
@Marakulous43 - No offense, but I think the video went over your head. The question you should be asking is, why are so many American presidents getting off'ed and, why are no Libyan leaders meeting the same fate?
"we prosper" - No you don't. Any transient wealth you might have is given to you by the state or corporations acting in their self-interest. Anything that is given can be taken away. Anything that can be taken away was never yours at the outset. You have no clue what prosperity is - the word itself has been hijacked. The very language you speak has been manipulated, so thoroughly have you been placed under the levers of control. You are a brainwashed automaton.
People in the west are ignorant because of a totally corrupt educational system & a completely dishonest media, The west is brainwashed their whole lives to think they're the most decent & intelligent.
Even tho I've woken up to my enslavement matrix, most others are cowards who can't admit they've been fooled their whole lives. The best thing every westerner could do is to read Gaddafi's "Green Book" & focus your protests on the media. But theyre too lazy. It's really tragic.
@MrCrgl , the last US president assassinated was a decent man who tried to get us back on the side of good. There were a lot of bad people in govt. after WW2. The US brought all the top nazi's to the USA. IT's the nazi's that began NASA & CIA. Various secret societies like Skull & Bones were also involved. JFK tried to stop Israel from building the H bomb. He wanted UN inspections at Dimona. He also tried to get back control of the US treasury. It's those 2 issues that got JFK killed.
@mondocrat still, you have killed many of your presidents and in Lybia presidenst feel free to travel and apparantly have no fear of getting killed ? how do you explain that ?

Neither motorcade looks more democratic than the other. Gaddafi's motorcade just looks insane. The man's the typical "batshit crazy celebrity" of North Africa.
@TheOnlineCommunity , oh give me a break! You need to destroy your XBox my friend. You're obviously brainwashed. There's a huge difference. Libyans have free education, free medical, new marriages get 50k endowments, etc. The oil is partly nationalized & goes back into the community. Does that sound like "democracy"? U should read Gaddafi's "Green Book". But you won't. You'll just keep playing video games while WW3 rages all around u. U won't figure it out until a boot is on your neck.
@mondocrat What the flying fuck are you ranting about? I was merely commenting on the unusualness of a national leader sticking out of a speeding car like a fucking frat boy. What the fuck is wrong with you? I didn't mention anything remotely related Libya's level of human development.
Just listen to him speak. It's not hard to see that he's fucking insane, though I guess if one swallows enough propaganda they'll even be willing to defend dictators who massacre their own people.
And more than anything else, there have been what, 5 presidents assassinated? In a couple hundred years? Compared to some regimes where there can be a change of power every few months.
@nytquil1 , You need to go to mathabaDOTnet and download Gaddafi's own book. He explains his whole philosophy and style of governing. If we had the same system in the USA, there'd be no homeless or hungry. Don't you realize after almost 10 years of lie after lie after lie, whether it's a Republican or Democrat makes no difference. What more could it possibly take for you to face reality?
@mondocrat Wow thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard!!!!!!!! If you feel so strongly about Ghaddafi then why dont you go live in Lybia???? Democracy isnt perfect and our system has flaws but its the best system out there by far...thats why we are stable and we prosper
@Marakulous43 Thanks for the information. I was unaware that Qadaffi was a Michael Jackson wannabe. I only know he is the ruler of a sovereign nation that was attacked by another country whose leader broke the laws of his own country to go to war. I believe that asinine is the word you were looking for. I will use it in a sentence. It was asinine to have awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama.
