New guitars look like crap because the look of the 1950's is Fugly and old! Guitars from the 1980's look 100 years newer than the garbage that is out today! I just don't get why guitars and amps have taken on this look it's horrible!
I always wanted a kubicki bass - so rare here in Australia . They were produced by fender at one stage - but i believe that Philip kubicki now produced them himself .
Someone must have really knocked the shit out of that thing to put such a big ass crack down the body. Whoever did it was a total dick and totally fucked up that bass.What a shame for such abuse on a custom shop bass!
get an allan key and fix your volume/balance knobs. they're turning simultaneously and they're not supposed to. you've probably got the balance too tight and it's moving the whole post of the volume pot. I had the same issue and I had to slightly raise the volume knob as well so it wasn't contacting the balance. you have to mess with them a little but you'll get it
