  • bro, ha, theres some more, im running out of zoom priceless dude we (13 at the time) hiked the crags this summer, beautiful scenery ;) but ey thats not 1400 feet, and then you said eve hiked 1700 feet ha man u crack me up

  • great video! just did it yesterday and im pretty sure i'll be sore for another day or so !

  • 4,828 steps kicked my ass!!

  • I remember riding the incline as a kid a couple of times. One of my great memories of living in Colorado. Its a shame they pulled the tracks and stopped running it.

  • Hey wait a minute! If it says "no trespassing" why are all those people (including you) breaking the law? I guess it is not really enforced.

  • @deebo5000 that sign has been there for years, I think as a way of keeping the blame off the owners in case someone gets hurt (it is still private property), however I've walked up this many times and have never heard of anyone actually getting in trouble.

  • @deebo5000 Actually, not really alotta people hike it, and I personally have never gotten in trouble the three times I have done it.

  • yeah, I hiked it early last june....it kicked my butt!!!!! 5,000 steps for 1 mile...... once you get to the top of the incline though, it's not too steep of a hike to Barr camp which is about another 6.5-7 miles.

  • I did the hike back in March and got my ass kicked. Ill be back in november!.

  • The Cog Railway should clean up their crap and fix the scar they left on the side of the mountain, just like the one in NH. Both bad stewards of the land that brings them their riches.

  • This is a really cool hike. Going down the trail is also really nice. That fake summit really made me laugh. Just when you think you're to the top... theres more!

  • Worth watching if you have or want to climb the incline. The climb itself is a 5! Great exercise and it's not this crowded all the time.

  • do people bike down that? i mean.. is it allowed?

  • no, the steps get way big at the top.

  • there is actually a side trail that comes out at the top of the incline. You can either hike this trecherous 1 mile manitou incline, or take the 4.5 mile sidetrail by bike. You wouldn't wanna try to ride down the incline though cause it's between a 40%-65% or so incline!!!! there are a lot of stakes stiking out of the ground that you could fall on too.
