I went hunting with my brother in law a week ago and saw just how quick a pig can die if stuck right, it was seriously gone within about 2 seconds.. Too much danger with shooting them, you could hit your dogs - plus the pig is moving, so you're a good chance of not killing it with the first shot..

Here is how it works buddy, there are a total of three sections that make up a team of hunters, The Handlers, The Hounds, and The Bulldogs (or whatever catch dog the handler prefer) the mission of the Hound (usually a Black Mouth Cur) is to get on the scent of a wild hog, find them and bay them by a consistent bark, when the Cur has successfully

But the human race has advanced beyond the need to kill animals, you will argue 'we need meat to survive' etc. But clearly that is not the case, I don't eat meat and I'm still healthy. I think hunting hogs is like killing pest insects. Just my opinion okay? You take off your slippers then you crush the poor cockroach lol. Dog hunting is some of the most exciting hunting you can do. Hogs are a menace to farmers and land owners and they thank us for every one we kill and we kill a lot of them. Dogs are very effective at finding the hogs and running off the rest of them. Some people will never understand and we don't expect them to. We get the same comments over and over on some of our videos as well.

@darrensam1 easy buddy, the dogs are not tearing anything or anyone apart. They hold the hog down, granted by any means possible, usually two dogos hold the head by ears and one holds a rear leg and wait until the hunter comes and cuts the hogs throat or stabs it in the heart, quickly and painlessly.
U'd talk differently if one of these hogs attacked your kid or a wife. They are agressive and dangerous and they ruin the eco system, just like the python, in Fla and all over the southern US of A

Pigs are an invasive species? Sure. But what does this have to with holding a pig by it's rear legs and letting hunting dog, chew and slowly pull it's ears to pieces, bit though the pigs lips and slowly pulling the pigs mouth to pieces, bit through it's eye lids and face and completely shred the pigs face into pulp for 10-20 minutes or however long it takes? Find something more productive to do with your life.

Here is how it works buddy, there are a total of three sections that make up a team of hunters, The Handlers, The Hounds, and The Bulldogs (or whatever catch dog the handler prefer) the mission of the Hound (usually a Black Mouth Cur) is to get on the scent of a wild hog, find them and bay them by a consistent bark, when the Cur has successfully

@espiecheck, surrounded the Pig, the handlers release the Bulldog, to CATCH and HOLD the wild pig until the Handler catches up to cull the pig. Now you have two types of handlers, mission oriented handlers, and peice of shit handlers. The mission oriented handlers will take the pig out it's misery as soon as he or she see an opening to take the pig out ( usually by a knife stab near the arm pit or in the arm pit whichever presents come first) in the meantime the Bulldog is holding on............

I do believe hunting wild pigs is justified, and is neccessary, to many damm pigs roaming around, in fact in places like Hawaii they pigs are culled and the meat is donated to low income familes (good eating right there), granted the pigs head is stuffed and made a wall ornament lol! But the human race has advanced beyond the need to kill animals, you will argue 'we need meat to survive' etc. But clearly that is not the case, I don't eat meat and I'm still healthy. To take away an animals life just because of the fact that you enjoy the 'thrill' of the hunt is very wrong in deed.

In this video I see a bunch of grown men with a pack of dogs chasing down a hog and watching their dogs tear it to shreds, this my friend is not harmony. This is bloodthirsty and cruel. Just like everything else we evolve, just because our ancestors did something doesn't make it right, we need to learn from our ancestors mistakes. They did what they needed to do to get by, but we are at a stage now where we no longer need to be brutal towards animals as we can survive perfectly well without killing them.

Dog hunting is some of the most exciting hunting you can do. Hogs are a menace to farmers and land owners and they thank us for every one we kill and we kill a lot of them. Dogs are very effective at finding the hogs and running off the rest of them. Some people will never understand and we don't expect them to. We get the same comments over and over on some of our videos as well.

I'm jealous, hunting has been pretty much relegated into history in my country, even snaring a rabbit will be illegal before long, the only things that survive are things like driven shooting and deer stalking for the very rich.
I wish I had the opportunity to keep my dogs happy, fit and stimulated while putting meat on the table, the trip to the supermarket just doesn't cut it somehow.

What gets me is this... i have nothing against using dogs to assist in hunting, however, i think it's bs a hunter can shoot a dog for chasing a deer, but yet, it's ok to use dogs to catch pigs??? Cool video. For those talking bad about this video, first off, those pigs die in about 10 seconds once they get a knife in them. You cant just run in and dive on the hog with a knife, those pigs can tear your throat out if the dogs don't have a hold of ém. If you don't eat any meat I respect you not liking hunting, if you ever had bacon then you ate a pig that lived and died worse than these ones did.
