Yeah well you wanna know something? The only reason y'all are going to state is because one of the judges messed up our scoring. Mr. Bird didn't want to contest it and have them changed is because he didn't want it to be awkward in California so you can shut your mouth.

@Oscar Saw the all the scores. If it makes you feel better to say the judge messed up, meh, go ahead. Your director should've said something. Haltom band and their directors are far too classy to let a legitimate argument against "bad judging" make things awkward in California. They would rather see bands who earned a trip to State to actually go to State. It's not like y'all were even in 5th place. I see now that you can't just step up and congratulate Haltom...that would require some class.

@Oscar0009991122 By the way, based on the scores (looking at them now) one judge would not have made a difference from 7th place to 4th. I think your band director was just trying to make you feel better. Apparently the only way to do that is by putting down Haltom. I'm not sure why that is considering we are all traveling together to Pasadena, but that's his problem. It's sad, really. I feel sorry for him and you.

I should've known you were just trying to put his name in there to create a "legitimate" argument. @Ravencullen95 I agree with you in that band is fun. The band was having fun on the bus and someone who is from another band decides to watch it...now, he could just watch and move on, but instead he starts insulting the band. It is rude and uncalled for...and then to quote his band director saying bad things. ugh However, there is a rivalry. It exists and always will. It will have to be put on hold, though, when all 3 bands travel to the Rose Parade in Dec./Jan. ;)

@AnD082292 thats a good point. however if the bands are traveling to the rose parade then i agree that the rivalry will have to be put on hold so that they can preform as a whole and look good doing it :)

i can't believe you all are so undisaplined. WE RICHLAND band people are WAY more disaplained then you stupid buffalos. We would get in trouble for yelling out the window. we have to reamain quiet the entire time. that's why we're the best on the field and off.

@Oscar0009991122 I can't believe you can't spell disciplined. Must be that Richland education at work. Way to represent! The band fest proved that Haltom is the better band with better sound. They don't need a bunch of props and dancing around instead of playing to make up for where they lack otherwise. They are not undisciplined at all. They work very hard, and their show proves it!
