  • He should gear his diff. Lower or run the engine at a higher rpm and get those tires spinning. Many experienced drifters will also use the rev limiter to straighten the car up, but he it not pushing it. It also takes a lot of grip to run an ls.

  • @takethatflfl go look at sikky(dot)c0m I know that they make a kit for the s14 but I'm not sure about the s13. Go with the LS1 over the LT1. Far superior engine and they are still very cheap. Most people get them straight out of vettes but you can get them from an f-body too. The whole swap would probably cost around 7-8k if you can do the work yourself. Otherwise you're paying for labor too which gets pricey. Good luck!

  • 240sx 180sx 200sx are all S-chassis. just depends on what swap u did & how many liters the engine has. ka24de=240sx, ca18det=180sx, rb20det,sr20det=200sx. just depends on the engine.. who really cares tho!? S13s,S14& S15s!!

  • @Slwsrt... What the fuck are you talking about? What do you call an LS1? That is a 5.7 348cu in... The LT1 is a 5.7 350cu in, they stopped that engine in 97 for f bodys. 6.0 is an LQ iron or LS2 alu. block. Srt owners shouldnt be talking about chevy motors.

  • Haha, 570 SX sounds about right. The guy is obviously still learning how to drive the car. He is barely touching the throttle and doesn't really need to stomp it. No need to keep clutching it like that either. It sounds like crap but all LSXs do, at least it has the right number of cylinders.

  • @TerryH2323 you said that the kouki was series was from 1997-1998 but there are kouki taillights availible for 180sx (240sx), check ebay. theyre JDM swaps.

  • @szpopho That's because 180sx and 240sx (Silvia in japan) are not the same thing. 240sx is usdm while 180sx is jdm. In this video is a 240sx with the stock usdm taillights, some 240sx have the jdm taillights because they are jdm conversions.

  • @TerryH2323 sorry to burst your bubbly but those arent STOCK usdm 240sx taillights, stock 240sx still come with the red and orange tail lights, those are D-Max aftermarket crystal tail lights.

  • @szpopho All depends on car etc.. Some JDM Cars have better motors than the USDM... Some imports have better USDM motors than JDM motors... Example. USDM 2jz Owns JDM 2jz. :D.....JDM SR20DET Owns USDM KA20DE :D

  • s13 is the chassis... all we know now, is that its a 570sx. they were naming the car by the displacement the car had. ka has 2.4 = 240sx. ca has 1.8 = 180sx. sr has 2.0 = 200sx. even after japan came out with the sr they decided not to change the name of the car. but there u go, now its a 570sx. ;D

  • @Cisco121490 And man u r wrong :D 240sx its a rps13 body with KA24DE engine selling only in USA. 200sx its rps13 body with CA18DE/T engine sellin into europe. 180sx its rps13 body with SR20DET engine selin only in U.K., Ireland, Japan.That was the only version with engine from nissan silvia ps13 or nissan 200sx rps14 and ps13 and silvia ps15.Other thing 180sx rps13 had RHD and thats the reason why its been selling only in U.K. and Japan and Australia.     S13 = chassis code

    P = models featuring SR20 motors (91-94; up to 98 where 180SX's are concerned)

    R = hatchback models (180SX and USDM 240SX hatch)

    H = models featuring KA24E motors (USDM only)

    M = models featurng KA24DE motors (USDM only)

    Anyways Nissan names most of their cars IN the US based on their engines. For example g35, 200sx, 350z, 240z, 300z, g27, .. So the correct name in the states should be 570sx.

    Don't take the 570sx too serious. your not really changing the name through papers and such. i don't think anyone took it serious. take it as a nickname. people will be confused and ask "why?" and when your like "because it has a v8", i just can imagine their reactions ;D.
