They used the best voice actor to play the part of a giant and honorable character, but Goliath and his clan are Scottish (or at least from the Britannia area), so it makes sense that their human forms would be white. Even Bronx seemed to be an Irish Wolfhound when he was transformed.

He's the brother from the season 2 finale, hunter's moon. He is the newest incarnation of the hunters. His brother was paralyzed from the waist down, and he blames gargoyles for it (it was really his fault)

Actually they never officially make that connection.

Yes it is pretty obvious to anyone who has watched the full series, but the connection should have been officially made.

On his own (without drawing the connection) Castaway is a very flat character with no real motivations besides having a mustache and being evil.

For the character to be even mildly interesting he requires that connection to the brother from last season to be solid.

But they never made it particularly solid.

Yes what you see in the first episode of the 3rd Season of 'The Journey' is cannon to most fans. Meaning that one of the main series producers Greg Weismen was still on board for that. If you go to Ask Greg on Station Eight you can read all of Greg's comments about Angela and Broadway. He had there future mapped out including kids and stuff I think.

I haven't seen the other parts to this episode yet, but right of the bat I was thinking that since the quarrymen illegally fired those heavy anti-aircraft weapons in the middle of the city with such recklessness that the NYPD would have cause to call in the national guard to bring down the quarrymen... they would be crushed along with the plot device... I guess this is where even the smallest shred of realism must be put aside to enjoy the movie.
