How, in God's Name, are you NOT signed? I'm on here, pretty much all day, and I hear tons of mu-sack, BUT you are a fucking STAR, Keith. I shit you not.
If you lived near me, I'd be BEGGING to start up a band....abso-fucking-lutely.
I'd certainly take you up on that offer man, I don't play with enough serious musicians and maybe that's my downfall. Your comments give me the inspiration to continue to write music the way I think I should, I'm glad it's being enjoyed for what it is!
The opening variations are one takes I think. The solo at the end is done in two parts, both of which were improvised with a couple of recurring solo ideas.
"Enjoyed" is, truly, an understatement. I LOVE this stuff, Keith.
...and ya wanna talk about "inspiration?" Chew on THIS: Whenever I feel down, or do NOT want to practice, I'll play others' music to get me going. YOU are near the TOP of this list (Along with Buckethead, Django, Vai).
NO BULLSHIT. ZERO. (first of all, I fucking hate liars/phoneys/suck-asses....second, YOU, my Friend, are the REAL DEAL.)
This reminds me of Mick Goodrick and Wolfgang Muthspiel. I'm from Troy,NY...if you're reasonably close to that, Keith, you should hit me up for a jam. Within a very short time, we could slaughter some standards and Coltrane tunes. Let me know if you're interested.
Keith your music is really amazing. I swear you it takes me to another dimesion!
