Yes, after Chad Lowe made his ill-fated decision to become a "movie star", NBC and the producers revamped the show (similar to a failed pilot the producers had created the season before, "NOT IN FRONT OF THE KIDS"), stuck another young actor in as "Spencer", and it became "UNDER ONE ROOF". That lasted as long as the second season of "DOUBLE TROUBLE", which also ended that season.

I dont but am from the ne indiana area and was very young at the time loved the cartoons though and remember bits of the summer soaps at night falcon crest, dallas, and shows like airwolf, the fall guy, and macgiver, as well as knocks landing good times very young but good times back then.

i rwas young and i remmber one epsiode where his buddy the one with teh big nose was in a accident and spenc thought that a guy in a body cast was him and then his buddy comes from behind him with a small bandage on his nose. man id like to jsut see the intro i use to love the song

I remember the Double Trouble sitcom, during the first season the two girls lived with their dad in a small town then in the second they moved to New York city. I was a teenager at the time and really enjoyed it; does anybody actually have the entire episodes?

"SPENCER" ended after a few episodes because Chad Lowe quit to pursue a motion picture career {say, whatever happened to HIM?}; the series was "retooled" in the spring of 1985 as "UNDER ONE ROOF", with Ross Harris as "Spencer", and the focus shifted to his family {this format change was actually a reworking of an unsold pilot from the same producers, "NOT IN FRONT OF THE KIDS"}- that version was gone by the end of the '84-'85 season...

Probably your local NBC affiliate chose the option to insert their own promos/commercials after this "BLOOPERS" promo, 'boss'. Believe it or not, some local NBC stations didn't carry the full Saturday night schedule in 1984, and inserted their own material to "cover" that particular promo....

I like the TV show Spencer with Chad Lowe. It only lasted one seaon with only a few episodes.
