the funny thing is that this car doesn't specialize in speed......its a cornering car....supposed to rip you in the turns, not the straightaway.....ps ive ridden in a zr1 and a gtr (not spec v). the vette is a HORRIBLE ride.....super stiff....the gtr is a comfortable ride and goes crazy when you lay the pedal down. i would take a gtr a million to one over the corvette.....Plus you will have enough money left over to go buy a nice sedan!

I have a soft spot for inline six motors. I like thier overall simplicity. The RB motors had thier issues, (ignition coils were prone heat damage) but were some pretty stout performance motors.
The VQ variants are really good motors. They are used in Nissan light duty trucks and stand up pretty well to abuse. I just dont like how pricey they are to work on and modify.

my 5.7 in my tundra puts ls-motors to shame... please i run a 14.2 in the quarter and the ss camaro (1998-2002) runs high 13s 13.6-13.8 wow my truck weighs 3 grand more and its only a couple tenths slower paleeeese.... @GenerationAutomobile its same with bmw and the smg in the m3 adn m5, u may only use it a certain amount of time, the computer remembers how often u used it, i think 30 launches were still counted into waranty, but if u would ahve done more than that your waranty for the tranny is lost

the LS motors are great motors I will give you that, but RB's and VQ's have been out for quite sometime, and their alot better than you think.
