We went to a concert in SF in 66 (California Hall I think) and this little female with long hair dressed all in black wandered out onto the stage, stood there for a second then her voice just filled the room like a sonic blast... We couldn't move for an hour. I still get chills thinking about that night. I've never had a musical experience quite like that although Hendrix at Monterey Pop in 67 comes close. Living in the Bay Area in the 60s was a gift musically
