  • I am very jealous. I have never seen a Waxwing. They are mystical, elusive birds.

  • @JMc4Carthy I went to see some in stourbridge last year, never seen them before, ended up seeing 125! they are in the video which i have posted as a response to this!

  • yes they are bohemian waxwings, there was a cedar waxwing in nottingham in 1996 which pulled in birdwatches from all over the uk

  • what is the name of the tree? I did know... is a wonderful berry... like porcelain

  • The tree is Mountail Ash, Rowan tree,

  • First-class video with very nice admissions and suitable music. Very nicely!

  • Absolutely Beautiful. A rare sight to see...I am very envious.

  • Very nice job. I think the Cedar Waxwing is one of the most entrancing birds there are. They come through my area, Oakland, CA, in the Fall and eat happily from the aweful little Bradford Pears overused by the City of Oakland to scape as sidewalk trees.

  • @Pallas89 those are Bohemian Waxwing

  • image 100% true in cam.?

  • Nice film!

We don't seem to get Waxwings in our neck of the woods. However a local birdwatcher has seen Red-breasted Merganser's on one of the local lakes.
